"Do you mind if I stay the night?"

My eyes jerked over to him and widened. We just met again, and he's already staying the night?!

He shut the front door and put his hands on her head, leaning against the exit.

I couldn't help but let my eyes wander on his position. His shirt was slightly lifted, allowing me to see his toned skin and sharp V-line.

I quickly stopped my thoughts and looked back up at him, a blush dusting my cheeks.

"U-Um, I guess if you want to..." I got too nervous to speak with pride, so my words came out as a mumble.

He slumped his shoulders and scratched the back of his neck.

"If it makes you uncomfortable, I can walk home." He laughed sheepishly.

He opened the door once again, and as he did, lightning struck close by, causing a startling cracking noise to fill my eardrums. The scare prompted me to jump forward. I tripped over my steps and was pushed into Todoroki's chest.

I shot my eyes up as he quickly looked down at me. We both watched the pink cover our faces. I stood up and looked down, playing with the end of my skirt.

   "S-Sorry I didn't mean t-"

"(Y/n), are you afraid of storms?" His voice was soft, speaking as if he genuinely cared.

I silently nodded, embarrassed at my childish answer.

"C-can you stay?" I asked quietly, keeping my eyes on the wood floor and flinching at the noises from the outside.

Todoroki shut the door once again and lifted my chin, forcing me to look up at him.

"Don't be embarrassed, in a weird way; it's cute." He chuckled and let my chin fall as he removed his touch from my head.

"F-Follow me." I stumble over my steps as I drag my flustered state to the guest bedroom at the end of the hall upstairs.

"You know where my room is if you need and you can help yourself to anything in the house. The bathroom to through that door" I pointed to the door to the side, and he nodded.

As I was walking out of the room, I felt a pair of cold fingers wrap around my wrist.

I turn around and get met with a pair of glossy heterochromatic grey and blue orbs.

"If you're scared of the loud noises, you can stay here with me." Strands of his hair fell in front of his face, and he looked at me, waiting for a response.

"I'm fine Todoroki, really I-" I was cut off by a loud boom, causing me to jump in fear.

The two-toned boy just smirked and raised an eyebrow.

"Shut up!" I playfully hit his arm, and he releases his grip from my wrist.

"Cmon, we can watch a movie until the storm passes over, okay?" His voice was so gentle and quiet, almost soothing.

God (y/n), at this rate you may as well say you've fallen for the boy.

I blushed deeply at my own mind's way of thinking.

Todoroki nudged me. "So, is that a yes or?" I quickly nodded and walked over to the bed. The two of use awkwardly got under the covers, keeping a bit of distance between use. I grab the remote from the nightstand and turn on the TV that stands in front of the bed.

"Anything specific." I look over at Todoroki, whose entire body was already shifted towards me, as if he was looking at me.

He shook his head softly. The TV's volume was at a low, so it was heard as only background noise. The sound of raindrops hitting the window filled the room's silence with a surreal feeling.

The eye contact the two of us made was comforting; it was as if we were in our own little world, where nothing could distract us.

The moment was ruined by the sudden buzzing that made both of us jump a little.

Todoroki cursed under his breath and grabbed his phone, putting it up to his ear only to pull it away from the loud yelling that came from the caller.

"TODOROKI WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? ITS ALMOST MIDNIGHT AND YOU STILL AREN'T HOME!" The voice sounded like a woman. I couldn't help but giggle, having an idea as to who the source of the screams was.

"Fuyumi, I'm perfectly, fine I'm just staying at a friends house because of the storm."

"DOES THIS 'FRIEND' HAPPEN TO BE FEMALE?!"

Todoroki looks over at me for a second before looking back at the wall.

"Yup, and a pretty one at that." His face stayed serious as if he was speaking the truth.

I hid my face in the blankets and tried my hardest to calm myself.

After about 5 minutes, Todoroki hung up the phone and glanced over at me, noticing my still blushing face.

"Are you okay? Are you feeling sick?" Todoroki pulled the covers completely off my face and placed the back of his hand on my forehead.

He was so content with checking my body heat; he didn't even notice how close he was to me.

   "U-Uh, T-Todoroki...?"

"Hmm?" He suddenly realized the current position he was in and went to pull back, but as he did, a loud crash echoed through the house, causing me to push into his chest, instinctively wrapping my arms around his torso.

It took Todoroki back a bit, but he eventually wrapped his arms gently around my waist, listening to my own shakey heartbeat.

I became flustered after noticing what I did. But before I could pull away, Todoroki held me closer, putting his lips close to my ear as he whispered,

"Just stay like this, your clearly frightened." His voice was soft, so quiet only I would ever hear those words.

I nodded I laid my head on the crook of his neck, smiling slightly as he rubbed my back in comfort.

I felt my eyes become heavy and my vision darkened. I fell asleep, nuzzling into the crook of the two-toned boy's warm neck.

Damn Todoroki, keep doing this to me, and I'll fall for you.

         Todoroki's POV

I ran my finger through her soft (h/c) hair when I noticed her breathing had calmed down, and she stayed silent. I moved the hair gently away from her hair and smiled at her sleeping state.

I couldn't help but blush over the girl that slept on me.

Damn (y/n), keep being this cute, and I'll fall for you.

I looked at her ceiling, slowly laying back as I looked at stars stuck up like a night sky. I began counting them, all while playing with her hair gently.

I felt myself smiling as I drifted to sleep, with her in my arms.
