"Wait, you know her?!" Bucky asked kneeling down next to where Natasha was cradling your head

Natasha nodded, not allowing herself to speak for fear she would sob

"Wait, she what?!" Tony yelled though the comms

Natasha didn't look up as Steve, Tony, Clint and Wanda ran up to where she was

"You know her?!" Tony yelled stepping out of his suit

Clint came up besides Natasha

"This is y/n isn't it?" He asked

Natasha nodded again, more tears streaming down her face

You had a busted lip, and a big scar running down the bridge of your nose from the muzzle

"I'm so sorry nat" he said, Natasha didn't reply so he continued

"You want me to explain to the others so you don't have to?" He asked kindly hiding his surprise, Natasha nodded once more, looking down at your face

Everyone looked to Clint,

"Let's get these to a medical bay, then we can talk" he said

Everyone nodded, Natasha took hold of your side, draping your arm over her shoulder, Bucky taking the other side

- time skip -

The team sat in a make shift medical bay for those injured by the hulk, and well, the hulk

Natasha held your hand and quietly cried while Clint rubbed her back

"Okay, answers?" Tony asked as he stepped away from Bruce's bed which was next yours

"Uh well, this is y/n, she's Natasha's little sister" Clint said slowly

Everyone gasped, they didn't even know Natasha had a sister,let alone one who was with HYDRA

"Yeah, they were in the red room together, then she just left, no one knew where and they told Nat not to worry" Clint continued while squeezing Natasha's shoulder comfortingly

"Jesus" Bucky breathed

"She never followed the rules, so they sold her" Natasha said groggily without looking up

"I know nat, I know" Clint said sympathetically

There was a pause where everyone looked at natasha, the badass, who only wore black and was always so strong and put together, fall apart

"So what's the plan?" Steve asked slowly

"She won't even remember me" Natasha said and she sobbed putting her head in her hands, Clint still rubbing her back

"I hate to say it, but what if she's under HYDRA's control?" Wanda said carefully, not wanting to make things worse for Natasha

"She's not" Bucky said and everyone turned to him, he was standing a little way off and he walked up to the the side of your bed, opposite Natasha and sat down

"No?" Natasha said hopefully

"Im sure she's not, she doesn't carry herself like it, she shows emotion, and the self sacrifice? No she is not under HYDRA's control. May not have her memory's but she's not with them. She saved my life and plenty others, that's not HYDRA's deal"

he had a difficult to describe aura around him, it was a mix between anger, sadness, sympathy, guilt and some other un-identified stuff.

"So definitely not under HYDRA's control. Okay that's gotta be good" tony said, trying (and failing) to lift Natasha's spirits

"How old is she?" Bucky asked

"Nineteen" Natasha said

There was another pause

"But why won't she speak?" Steve asks

"I know why" Bucky said and once again everyone turned to him, he looked sympathetically at Natasha "it isn't pleasant" he added but Natasha gave him a look that could only mean

Tell me or I will rip out all your internal organs one by one

So Bucky continued "HYDRA had a program running a few years ago, they called it 'silent soldiers' it- Well it was a program where they took already skilled fighters and gave them powers then they-" Bucky paused and rubbed his temples

"They what?" Steve asked

"There is this - this machine" Bucky continued carefully "it's like a chair and they- they strap you down and it, god it, it hurts, it sends pain through every nerve in your body. I only went in it once and I passed out in minutes" He paused again "and well, in the program they were - they were going to, to torture these people with it, and they would, they would teach them not to scream"

"Holy Jesus" tony breathed

"And it has settings" Bucky continued getting a little teary eyed "and when they would scream in- in absolute agony or even make just- just any kind of noise they, HYDRA would just turn it up, make it worse and worse until they passed out. God.." he trailed off and put his head in his hands

"So does that mean there are more people like her?" Steve asked

"No, it was a failed program" Bucky said "all of them died, well 'sept her"

Natasha let out a sob and looked down.

Then her head shot up

"Hmgh" you groaned
