"Y/n" Bucky said coming up from behind you, "Natasha is going to be fine, I know you're angry - you don't know how you know her, but you do, and it's scary, I know, trust me. But hurting Fury won't solve anything, I swear I can help you, we all can. But you can't kill him. Show us you're not the weapon HYDRA wants you to be"

His words stung, you glared at Fury then allowed him to drop to the floor

"There we are, now let's-"

"Fire!" Fury screamed from the floor

Suddenly all agents opened fire on you and Bucky, you made a force field around the two of you protecting the both you.

You heard the screams of the people who were next to the bed, you knew you had to get him out of this, but you found it hard to think of a plan, everything was dizzy and confusing- you put this down to blood loss

It may have taken you a while, but you did manage to come up with a plan, not a vey elegant one, but one none the less

You suddenly took hold of Bucky and threw him out of harms way, then you let down the force field and stood there, letting the bullets travel through you

"Put your guns down, you look like fools" you said loudly

The firing stopped as the agent realised the issue,

You ran to the wall and went straight through it you ran and ran and ran

- time skip -

After hijacking a car, you drove to the nearest town, you looked a sight, with blood running down you

You walked to the side of the nearest shop, you poked your head through the wall, you couldn't see anyone nearby so you stepped through, you didn't need anything fancy

You grabbed what you needed and walked back through the wall without drawing attention to yourself

You stopped by a super market and got a bottle of water, only one person saw you and they gave you a funny look but you stared them down, they decided to mind their own business

You walked down a dimly lit back alley, the night sky above you held beautiful shining stars

You looked upwards and your breath was taken away, you had never seen anything so incredible. You sat on a crate and lifted your top to see where you had been shot

They had stopped bleeding thanks to your healing factor but you were covered in blood

You took one of the two tops you had and covered it in water and cleaned yourself off, then you changed into black jeans and a plain dark blue top and a black jacket

You shivered, it was a cold night but let's be real here, you had been through a hell of a lot worse

You leaned your back against the wall and took a deep breath of air, from there you fell into a short and uneasy unconsciousness

- meanwhile -

Natasha was distraught, Steve had to force her to get her leg bandaged, luckily the bullet had just grazed her but it still hurt a hell of a lot, and bled more.

All Natasha could think about was how she couldn't help you, they had sent out search parties but they had come back empty handed

How could she have let you get away?! And oh Jesus had you been through a lot! She was lounging at the tower while you were being tortured to the brink of insanity

She had to be held back from doing what you were going to, kill Fury that is

"You insensitive, narcissistic, self centred idiot!" She had screamed while both steve and Bucky had held her arms to stop her from pouncing on him

All she could do was wait and search, and hopefully, she would find you
