Drama Class

We pull up at school and are greeted by our other friends.

"Y/N, JeSung!"

"hey guys" JeSung and I both say in unison.

"OMG HAVE YOU GUYS HEARD ABOUT BTS" says SooJin and ChaeYoung.

I turn to her as I speak very slowly and with wide eyes. "WHAT.....ABOUT......BTS???

"They are having a concert near here and the tickets go on sale tonight, also it was surprise news so we're hoping that it will be easier to get tickets for all of us!"

JeSung and I look at each other and then all four of us let out high-pitched screams.

"OMG YOU GUYS THIS IS SO GREAT" JeSung says as she pulls us into a tight hug.

A million thoughts are going through my head right now.

"wait so here's the plan you all come to my house after school an hour before the concert tickets go on sale, make sure to bring every single laptop, phone, ipad, tablet whatever. We will be getting 4 tickets with each other got it?"

The other all say yes sir to me and we all laugh with excitement. Then the bell goes, and we must get to class.

I walk into my drama class and go stand with my starter partner, Park Hyung-Shik.

I have to admit I have a little crush on him but he is dating ChaeYoung so I have to keep it secret. 

I would like to have a boyfriend, that would be so nice, we could go on dates and hold hands (yeah, I know I am so cringy). But I know that will never happen because every guy I meet thinks I'm ugly and chubby, or they just see me as a friend. God, I wish I was pretty. Then I would be popular and get guys being nice to me. And......I'd finally want to be me. 

Shut up Y/N this is not good to think about!

"Hey, Y/N!"

"Hey, Hyung-Shik you alright today?"

"Yeah I've just got some news which you and the girls would like to hear"

"oh really, what?"

"no no no I will tell you altogether"

He has left me so curious I literally have no clue what he is talking about. Lesson starts as usual, we must start with putting together a little scene which lasts exactly 1 minute. It is very hard you know. Hyung-Shik and I put together a scene about a witch and a rock-metal fan meeting in a market place. (don't ask it was his idea).

"that was put together really well guys, good job" says our teacher as we sit down to watch the next pair.

The lesson continued, and this topic was improvisation which is legit my fav and to be honest the one I am best at. I go stand at the front ready to perform the one line which I could rehearse beforehand.

"The air so dark and thick tonight."

Another student is then called up to the front to carry on the scene.

"why hello miss, the night is a cold one indeed"

"oh, I know I wished for it to be, tell me sir, are you scared of the dark"

The teacher got my hint and switched off the lights.

"hello, who are you? what happened to the light and the moon"

"tell me sir, are you scared of the dark?" I repeat.

"No but I have a fear of what you are."

"Good, but a lot can happen in the dark sir, tell me are you scared of the dark?" I say as my voice starts to circle him slowly in the dark.

"Yes, I'm scared! What's happening?" his voice becomes more afraid.

"your fear is taking over you............tell me are you scared of the dark?"

He then screams. The lights come back on as he is lying on the floor 'dead'.

I then tilt my head slowly as I look at the audience and whisper almost "tell me are you scared of the dark?"

We are then greeted with a round of applause.

"That was very good guys, I love that it was very dramatic. The only thing I would say is that it escalated very quickly so maybe add a bit more of normal dialog before the dark stuff starts to happen. But very well done that gave me Goosebumps!"

We finish the lesson and by the way Hyung-Shik's improv was hilarious just like him lol.
