the part-timer

It was a cold and cloudy September day , the roads only half as busy as usual and a silver pickup truck with an oh so familiar logo plastered onto its left and right doors driving right to a school.

The silver pickup truck slowly parked into the school's parking lot with a figure stepping out of the drivers seat and onto the cement road of the school . that figure is no other than Jessie , the boss/manager of M.G . Suddenly the back door of the pickup truck opened revealing  another  albeit shorter figure , this newcomer is Destiny Slash of Mephalonian decent, one of the many other inter-dimensional beings that reside within the city.

"So"Destiny started staring up at Jessie , her hot pink eyes staring through her "this is my first case?"

"Yes it is, Destiny" Jessie said nodding motioning towards the old school that once stood proudly with its bright colors and excellent students now stand decaying , its bright colors dull and not a trace of any life in sight.

"Looks pretty old, how long has it been abandoned anyways?" Destiny asked while taking a few steps closer to the building that once called itself a school. "About 20-30 years "Jessie responded with a monotone voice "can't believe it's still standing though."
Destiny nodded in agreement staring into the old , grainy and broken windows that accompany the classrooms "could just be holding on to dear life though, I mean look at some of these pillars!" Destiny pointed to a couple of the front pillars that line the hallways and even poked at one only to have some chunks fall off to prove her piont.

"That's why we need to do this investigation fast before this place crumbles down like a cookie" Jessie sighed as she fumbled with her leathery sling bag pulling out a device the size of a skinny and shorter calculator showing a screen with dots on it , much like a radar it too can detect things , only this detects paranormal entities.

Destiny smiled and pulled out her own paranormal radar and carefully stepped onto the buildings old tiled steps and walked into the dim abandoned hallway  " If you say so , boss."  Jessie quickly followed not wanting to lose Destiny within the school , she should know , she nearly got lost there too years ago , except the only danger was being late to class.
