Chapter 3

I woke by the sound of my alarm clock I reached for the alarm clock and got it looking at it, the time was 6:59am I threw it across the room mum reset my alarm clock again I roll my eyes my groom was still dark because the curtains were still down my hair was scattered all over face and messy I finally sat up and rubbed my eyes I stood up and walked into the bathroom I washed my face and looked at myself in the mirror reminds me of when I was about to kill myself that day....i walk into my room and put on my fluffy slippers and rushed downstairs I could here some shuffling in the kitchen I walked into the kitchen my mum was cooking breakfast the aroma filled my nose and my stomach rumbles "morning mum"I greet as I sit on the counter "how was night darling"she asks as she flips the pancakes "it was great"I lie "where is dad"I added "right here"my pokes me on the side of my neck making me to jump "dad!?"I squeak "dad you know I hate that!"I yell angrily he starts to chuckle and my mum giggles I give smile "finally a smile"my mum says as my dad kisses her cheek then he pours the pancake mix into pan "yeah"I mutter my mum looked alot like me pitch black hair that stops at her shoulders and green eyes and pale -ish I don't have her eyes only my dad's his hair was dark brown fair skin deep blue eyes and a fit body he looked alot like him.
"Breakfast is served"my dad kept the plates on the table "so what time are we suppose to go to the camp?"I stuff the pancake into my mouth "by 7:30"my mum replies

"What?why...what kind of camp is this"I take another bite from the pancake my mum sighs and looks at me.

"It's the camp and your father went to it's really fun you'll make a lot of friends there"she gives me a smile I chuckle because I'm not going to make any friend over there I'm just gonna do what i have to do and I'm done. I give a plain smile at my mum and she smiles back, I was done with my breakfast and washed my plate "get ready Mia...it's almost time"my dad says, I nod and walk upstairs into my room I packed my stuffs yesterday so no much stress for me I moved the curtains aside as the sun rays blind me I squint my eyes looking away from the sun I opened the window as the Cool breeze met my skin I moved away from the curtain and removed my PJs as I get my towel walking into the bathroom.
Some minutes passed by and I was done bathing wrapping my towel around my body I plopped on my bed rubbing my lotion and putting on my underwear. I get a lavender long sleeve shirt with a black mini skirt and black sneakers, I let my hair down brushing it my hair was straight and in bangs I put on my outfit and get my little box,my back pack and phone.
"Mia!! let's go"my mum yells from the stairs I ignore because I was already walking down the stairs I walk outside the house as my mum we're leaning by the car while I was walking sluggishly to the car my dad grabs my little box and puts it in the boot while I get into the backseat with my bag.
We were on the road and the car was totally quiet while my parents were trying to bring up a conversation I sighs as i was about to put on my ear buds "let's put on some music"my mum says tuning on the radio then some country ol music booms into my ears I put on my earplugs and put some loud dubstep songs as they scream into my ears.

The car stopped as I opened my eyes slowly as my mum tapped me continuously trying to wake me up which I already was " I'm awake mum no need of poking"I groan as I looked at her.

"Oh great we're here camp lake wood" my mum smiles as I get out of the car with my backpack swung over my shoulder my dad already brought out my box.

"So camp lake wood huh?" I look at the entrance some vines where on the board of the camp with name on it the there was some cabins I could see from a distance like four or six cabins I shrugged boredly as I squirrel passed my leg.

"Pretty cool huh? You'll surely make a lot of new friends" my dad smiles I give him a smug smile 'that's what I'm trying to do not to make friends'. I sigh and get my box"welp..goodbye"I say walking away into the camp "oh come on honey let's take a picture before you leave" my mum insists as she grabs me by the arm pulling me to them as I stand in the middle,my dad gets his phone raising his phone high about to take selfie.

"C'mon mia put a smile on your face" my mum says I forcefully smile "cheese" they both smile as he takes the picture then they both squeeze me into a hug I swear I couldn't breathe until they released me as we said our goodbyes as the zoomed off.

I looked at the entrance and sighed as I walked in.

The campus was quiet as if I was the first person that got here the birds were chirping and lake was flowing beside my was a billboard with guide lines and a map of the camp I had to go to the secretary's office to know my cabin.

I finally got to the secretary's office I was about to open the door until it got swung open at the front of me was a woman she looked in her early or late 20s, her was short curly and reddish black in colour her forest green she had natural red lips and a young beautiful face with a cute but pointy nose she had like little freckles on it. She wore a white short sleeve buttoned shirt and a black pencil skirt that stopped above her knees with black heels with pearl earrings and silver bangles on her wrists and she looked excited and happy like a 10 year old. There was a moment of silence until she broke it.

"Oh come in,come in.." She moves aside for me to walk in. Her office was pretty big though with shelves filled with some books, artifacts and stuffed toys at the corner of the office was a water dispenser and a picture of her on the wall with posters of quotes like 'never give up' and shit. She also had a plasma TV and two comfy black chairs right at the front of her desk she walked behind her desk and gestured me to take a seat I sat down as the chair was sinking me in.

"Relaxing isn't it" she says I nod slowly "I'm miss burns but you can call me sandy" she smiles showing me a set of white teeth.

'I think I'm gonna stick with miss burns'

"And you must be Mia avaligne"she asks as she pulls out a file I nod again she slides file towards me showing me my profile.

I lied about my allergy I don't really know what I'm allergic to so I just wrote plastic I slide back to her as she puts it back into the file.

"First day at camp huh?I know that look on any teenagers face..but don't worry you'll have fun here and besides you'll make great friends here" she blabs this lady is too nice like she's not like other secretary's that look so sluggish and smoke she's like an angel "welp your cabin is cabin 12..everyone us 4 in a room so I guess you'll get nice cabin mates too" she smiles at me I stood up about to take me leave.

"Wait" she stopped me she stood up and walked to shelf and carried a brown teddy bear and gave it to me"uh no thanks i-" .

"Just take it" she smiles I can't be mean to this lady she's so nice I roll my eyes and sigh and took it from her "thank you" I smiled and quickly left the office stuffing the teddy into my backpack zipping it up.

I get my box and walk to the cabin area.

'Welp mia welcome to mother nature.'
