(Inspired by the song First Flight Home by Jake Miller)

My husband Jonah and his band mates are finishing their tour in Australia this week.

Jonah and I's daughter, Noella Autumn Frantzich and she really misses her dad. She is 4 years old and she looks exactly like Jonah.

"Mommy?" I heard her small voice ask me.

"Yes baby girl?"

"When is daddy going to be home?" She asked me.

"By the end of the week darling."

"I miss him." She started to cry.

"I know honey. Do you want me to call daddy?"

"Yeah."

I grabbed my phone and dialed Jonah's number. After 4 rings he answered.

"Hey, what's up baby girl?" I heard Jonah ask in a sleepy voice.

"I'm sorry I'm woke you up!" I apologized.

"Baby, it's no problem. Now tell me what's up?" He asked again.

"Noella really miss you, Jonah." I told him.

"I know I miss her too. I miss the both of you."

"Do you want to speak to her?"

"Yeah, I'd love too."

I gave my phone to Noella.

"Daddy?"

"Hey, baby girl!" He told Noella.

"When will you be home? I miss you!" She asked her father through the phone.

"Soon honey." He says.

We talked to Jonah for another 15 minutes before ending the call and Noella fell asleep and so did I.

Next morning, I felt arms around my wait. My eyes flew open and turned my head to see Jonah next to me sleeping.

"Baby! You're home!" I said in my normal voice and he woke up.

"Hey baby girl, I missed you." He said kissing me.

"Noella, wake up! Daddy is home!" I told the four year old and she slowly woke up.

"Hey Ella!" Jonah said to her and she immediately jumped into Jonah's lap and hugged him.
