"Mamá!!!!!" My 13 year old daughter yelled to me.

"Sí?!"

"I think I started my peirod! What do I do?!" She said while freaking out.

"Oh no.." I whispered to myself.

"Mamá!"

"Hija, cálmese! Um....just use one of these." I said handing her one of my pads.

"Te compraré algo la próxima vez que vayamos de compras." I told her.

"Mi niña está creciendo." I whispered to myself.

"Cariño estoy en casa desde el estudio." My husband Zabdiel of 18 years said entering the house.

"Zabdiel, you'll never guess what happened!"

"Qué?" He asked.

"Isla is growing up! She started her peirod!"

"Mamá! Really you told papá!!!" Isla yelled me embarrassed.

"Hija, it's a part of life! All females havw to go through it!" I told her.

"Nuestra bebé ya no es nuestro bebé." Zabdiel said.
