Finding Out You're Pregnant//Jonah

Jonah's POV

I woke up to feeling my fiancé getting out of bed and running into the bathroom to throw up. She's been doing this for a couple weeks now. I got out of bed and went to hold her hair back as she emptied her guts into the toilet.

"Veronica, I am taking you to the doctors and you can't stop me. You've been throwing up for 4 weeks straight." I told her.

"Fine." She muttered.

She brushed her teeth and we both got ready. I drove us to the doctors and we went in. I told the secretary what's been going on and she said that a doctor should be out to get us soon. We sat in the waiting room.

"Mrs Frantzich?" A doctor asked and we stood up.

"Hello, please follow me." She said leading us to a room.

"So, you've been throwing up, how long has this been going in for." She asked.

"About 4 weeks." Veronica told the doctor.

"Okay, have you guys had any sexual activity recently?" She asked us.

"Um....maybe about over a month and half ago." I said.

"Ah, okay. I'm going to run a urine sample if that's okay, so Mrs. Frantzich could you go pee in this cup and bring it back to me." She told my fiancé and Veronica did so.

"Alright, thank you, I'll be back with results." She said leaving the room.

Veronica and I just sat in silence until she came back with the results.

"Okay, Mrs. Frantzich it appears that you are one month pregnant. Congratulations you two." She said.

Veronica and I looked at each other with wide smiles.

"Once you get to the front desk, schedule an appointment for another month from now so you can get your first ultrasound." The doctor told us and went left and set up the appointment.

"Wow, we are going to be parents." I said.
