we arrive at my house "thanks grayson" i say with no emotion he smiles at me i jump out and start walking in my apartment i walk up up into my room and get into some sweatpants and a tommy bra and take off my makeup i hear the door open i sigh i know it's ethan he has a spare key

he comes running up i turn around to him his eyes are red and puffy, he starts to walk over to me "n-no stop" i say my voice cracks my eyes get glossy "e-emma please" he says quiet i feel a tear run down my face i burst out in tears i fall to the ground ethan wraps his arms around me and pull me close i don't bother to push him away i'm too weak i start to calm down i look at him he has tears running down his face "i-i'm so sorry emma she kissed me and i didn't push her off" he says while another tear runs down his face i don't say anything i just put my head on his chest and my breathings out of place i start crying again he holds me even tighter i close my eyes and i stop crying

i wake up still in ethans arms he's rocking me back and forth i hear him whispering "i love you i love you i love you" i sniffle and look up at him his eyes are puffy he looks at me a tear rolls down his cheek i cup his cheek with one hand and wipe his tear he tucks a piece of hair behind my ear "i love you so much emma i'm so so sorry i hate myself" he says scanning my face "you deserve so much more than me" he says i shake my head no "i love you ethan but why would you do that you weren't even drunk" i say his looks down

"i saw you hanging out with grayson and i just thought about when he kissed you and i got mad and a girl came over to me and kissed me and i-i didn't push her away like i should have" he says "all that grayson did what apologized that's all love okay nothing happened and i understand but please don't do it again" i say softly he cups my face "i would never" he says and slowly kisses me

we pull away i look at him and cup his cheek i rub my thumb across in small circles i see him take a deep breath him sigh he pulls me in for a hug i hug him back we get up off the floor and hop into my bed i scoot over to him and lay my head on his chest he rubs my back and kisses my forehead

i close my eyes and fall asleep
