Mayora and I sat in Chili's, waiting for our waiter or waitress.

"Who were you talking on the phone with?" I looked at her.

"Why you worried?"

"Because I can be worried. So who was that?"

"It was my complicated girlfriend."

"Oh yea, is she back in New York?"

"Yep. She just missing me that's all."

"Oh." She looked down at her phone.

I could tell that bothered her but why would it? I know she's lonely but damn don't make me feel bad you all alone and I got me a girl.

"Welcome to Chili's my name is Titan I'll be your server this afternoon. What can I get both of you to drink?"

"I'll take a pink lemonade." Mayora said.

"I'll have the same."

"Ok, I'll be right back." He walked off.

The silence between us was bothering me.

"Why you all quiet?" I poked her hand.

"What you want me to say Dray?"

"I don't know just talk to me about modeling, shit give me yo whole morning routine."

She giggled.

"No talk about you. You know enough about me already."

"There's nothing to say."

"Well, hows your dad?"

"He getting old."

"No duh. I mean how is he?"

"He's just taking care of my ma, and working his little job."

"Which is?"

"A mail man. He does it twice a week."

"Awe that's nice. At least some money is coming through."

"Yea, I always give them money for grocery shopping ."

"That's nice Dray."

"Here's your drinks. Are you both ready to order?"

"Uh yes, I'll have the triple dipper."

"Ok, and what would you like?"

"I'll have the two burgers with cheese and ketchup, a side of cheese curds and the buffalo bone - in wings."

I looked at Mayora surprised.

"Ok and for you sir?"

"I'll have the same as her."

"Ok, I'll be right back with your order." He collected the menus before walking off.

I looked over at Mayora who was answering her phone.

"Hi dad."

"..."

"I'm with Dray at Chili's."

"..."

"Ok - he said hi Dray."

"Wassup Mr. Veron."

"He said wassup dad."

"..."

"When do you plan on coming here?"
