"Happy Birthday!" I looked at myself in the mirror. "You are now twenty - one, you a boss ass bitch, you finally grown grown." I smiled.

It was my birthday. Mine. No one else's.

I walked into the bathroom and took my messy bun outta of my head. I could hear my phone notifications blowing up, I would look at it later.

Today I had no idea what I was going to do, but I do know I'm supposed to meet up with Mayora at one o'clock.

I brushed my teeth, did my skin care routine, then I put some clothes I washed last night away in my closet.

After I checked my phone and my mom was calling.

"Hi mom."

"Happy Birthday baby! You are twenty - one, how does it feel?"

"More grown." I laughed.

"I bet. What you got planned for today?"

"I'm suppose to meet up with Mayora at one. I wish you guys were all here to celebrate with me. I miss y'all."

"We miss you too. We will FaceTime you later when you are more awake."

"Trust me I'm awake now."

"I know, but you know what I mean."

"Yea."

We talked a little bit more before I decided to make me a bowl of cereal. I loved Fruity pebbles, they were my all time favorite. I added the milk to it before sitting down in front of my TV.

I was currently hooked on Claws, it was juicy.

Soon later it was almost one and I was on my way to a restaurant I've never even heard of. It looked really nice though as I pulled up next to her car. I got out grabbing my purse and phone.

Mayora ran over to me, almost knocking me down as she hugged me.

"Happy Birthday sis! You finally grown." She kissed my cheek.

"I was already grown."

"You thought you were. You ready to go inside?"

"Yea, is this a restaurant?"

"You'll see. Come on."

I followed her into the building, and we got into an elevator.

"Did you get a lot of calls?"

"Yes. Some from family, friends, and even my boss."

"That's good."

I noticed a gift bag in her hand I ain't notice at first.

"What's in that bag?"

"Stop asking questions." I rolled my eyes.

Soon the elevator stopped and we got off. We were on top of the roof of the building and there was a table full of people. My family.

I ran over to my mom and dad giving them a big hug.

"Happy Birthday baby girl." My dad said.

"Thank you dad! Why didn't you tell me you guys were coming? And mom you tricked me."

She smiled. "It was a surprise baby. Of course I wasn't going to tell you."

"Oh whatever. Hi Keelin." I hugged him.
