Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep!

I raised myself up, rubbing my eyes.

My alarm was going off, driving me crazy. I turned it off then plugged it up.

I got out of bed seeing I was wearing my clothes from last night. I looked in the mirror and saw my makeup smeared, hair crazy, and crust on the side of face.

I rushed to the bathroom, starting up my shower. I cleaned off my face, brushed my teeth then removed my clothes.

I got into the steaming shower letting the water wet my body. After shaving and washing my hair and body, I got my day started.

My phone was ringing as I put my shoes on. I picked it up, answering.

"Morning May."

"Hey, what time you coming to get me or am I meeting you somewhere?"

"I'll be there in a half an hour."

"Alright. See you then."

"Aight."

I walked to my kitchen, while searching for DirectTV's number. When I finally found it, I called them.

"Welcome to DirectTV services. How may I assist you?"

The voice machine asked.

"I need assistance."

"Ok, I'm connecting you to one of our workers."

The soft music began playing until the phone started ringing.

"Hi, welcome to DirectTV how may I help you?"

"I need someone to come set up the boxes and stuff at my apartment."

"Ok, when are you available?"

"Um does Monday, at 6pm work?"

"Uh yes. Address and number?"

I gave the person that information.

"Ok, I'll have someone be there tomorrow at 6 o'clock."

"Ok thanks."

I put my phone down and made me some coffee. My favorite was the espresso.

My phone started ringing and I sighed.

"Hi Mama."

"Hey baby. Haven't talked in a minute how are you?"

"I'm good. Dray and I going to the place he might buy for his store."

"Awe, I heard y'all went out last night. Did you have fun?"

"Yea it was cool. We just spending as much time together as we can before he leaves."

"Oh ok. Well ask him today when he is leaving so I can prepare a meal for him before he leaves."

"Okay. Anything you need?"

"I need to go the grocery shopping. Cierra said she can't on Tuesday, could you?"

"I'm working Tuesday. Wait, is it ok if we go in the morning?"

"That'll work."

"Ok, then I'll see you Tuesday morning- around nine?"
