Akinata's P.O.V.Karma. Akinata. Kinata. These names are what I have been called by others. Some names they call me aren't as pleasant as my name but nothing I can do to change what they call me, right? My family has a rather...bad background. They have relations to the villain group called League of Villains. The names kinda self-explanatory isn't it. Besides the fact that my family is on the dark side, I want to be a hero. I want to protect people. Help people.
I never want to kill innocent people like my family. I don't want to be like them. Never.
"I could pass out career forms but you wouldn't need them. You all want to go to the Hero course at UA!" The teacher yelled, pulling me out of my thoughts.
Bakugou, the ashy blond with the bad temper and huge ego, started going on about the class not making it in and how he's going to be the only one.
"Midoriya, Akinata, didn't you two also want to go to UA?" Teach asked.
"You better not try to get into UA, DEKU! YOU TOO, KITA!" He yelled. Bakugou scared the living crap out of Deku. I'm used to it since I get yelled at by my family at home all the time so it doesn't bother me but damn, at least get my name right. Deku, on the other hand, was babbling, trying his hardest so he could leave Bakugou's raging mindset.
"Leave him alone, Bakugou. Seriously, you're just some dumbass with a huge ass ego!" I told him.
He glared at me and gave me warning explosions from his right hand and left.
After school, I was taking the longest way out of the school to get home as late as possible. I saw Deku pick up his notebook about different hero's quirks out, of the pond. Number 13 or 14, I think. I find it cute that he takes notes on the hero's quirks.
"He can't just tell someone to kill themselves. What if I did? Then what would he do? The blame would be on him!"My smile dropped when I heard him talk.
"Deku! Hey!" I yelled as I ran up to him. I saw how his notebook looked burned and it was soaked from the pond.
"Hey, Akinata!" He smiled.
It's nice to know my name can make someone smile. And they someone actually knows it, damn Bakugou.
"Did Bakugou do this?" I asked, putting my hand on the burned notebook, inspecting it. He nodded slowly and I sighed. I took his hand and slimed at him. "Let's go get you a new one. I'll even help you copy more notes on hero's, too!"
He looked at me with his big green eyes and blushing cheeks. "Thanks, Akinata!"
"Oh! I was thinking. Maybe you should have a separate notebook on villains so you know what their quirks are and what hero would be best to go against them." I told him as we started walking away from the school, towards a supply store.
"That's a good idea." He smiled brightly. This kid. I repeated his actions.
We were walking under a bridge when I got this bad feeling. Something bad is gonna happen!
"Hey, kids. Wanna help me out of this town? This won't hurt a bit." a weird voice said as it shoved some slimy liquid down our throats.
I could tell Deku couldn't breathe. I couldn't either. I need to use my quirk.
The slime around Deku started to bubble then it exploded. What? Everything went black. The last thing I saw was yellow hair and heard 'i am here!' Wait a second. ALL MIGHT!! When I woke up I was in bed. Not my bed though. "Where am I?" I groaned. I looked around and saw that I was surrounded by All Might figurines and posters.
Deku walked in with a cup of water and one package of my favorite candy, Troll's sour gummy worms.
"Gummy worms!" I gasped.
He handed the water and gummy worms to me. I smiled as I ate them. I offered one to Deku but he didn't take it. I frowned. No is not an answer Deku. I had the gummy worm in my hand and brought me face close to his. When he gasped I shoved the gummy worm in his mouth.
"I win!" I cheered. A sharp pain filled my left shoulder so I gasped and grabbed it. "Shit." Blood had stained his sheets where I was laying. 'Sorry Deku...'
"Akinata, what's wrong?!" Deku worriedly sat on the bed and look at my shoulder. "O- You're bleeding?! I'll grab the first aid kit in the bathroom."
There was a large gash on my right shoulder blade that ran from there to the top of my shoulder. Deku ran to his bathroom to get some bandages to wrap my arm. My shirt must have stopped most of the blood while I was brought to Deku's house. When he came back he cleaned it then started to wrap it. I stopped him.
"I'll wrap it myself," I said taking the bandage roll into the bathroom with me so I could see what I was doing. I walked out with the bandage around my chest, over my right shoulder, and tightly wrapped around my bicep.
Deku looked at his wall clock and started to think. You could tell from his expression."It's getting late. Do you want to stay here?" he asked.
I smiled, "Sure!"
