Bakugou's P.O.V"Hey! What's wrong?" I shook her awake. Her body jolted and her eyes widened.
"...go..ne.." she whispered in quivering breaths.
I held her shaking body and rubbed her back. Her breathing was slowly steadied and her quivering body was now still.
"What's wrong?" I decided now was an ok time to ask.
"...My family. It's fine. Don't worry about it." She hesitated but played it off.
After arguing with her she finally told me.
"My...family is a group of v-villains like I have said previously. They abused me because I wanted to be a hero. They despised me. I ran away when I got accepted into U.A because I thought I could be a better person but all I've done is screw things up. I-I don't wanna be like them, Katsuki!" She said with her eyes brimming with tears. I hugged her and her breathing started to quicken.
Karma's P.O.V.
Not now.
Not now.
Please, not now.
No!
My breath quickened and it soon got hard to breathe. I pulled on Katsuki's shirt and he let go of me. I rolled off the couch and started looking or my inhaler.
"What are you looking for?"
I kept coughing so I just looked at him and tapped my throat. He seemed to get it and helped me look.
'Damn it! Where is it?!' I fell to the ground with a thud but caught my arm on the side table knocking over a half-full cup of water. My body began getting weaker and weaker; I curled up on the floor holding my shirt trying so hard to keep breathing but nothing was working.
Thudding footsteps stopped by my body but I was too weak to see if it was Katsuki or my imagination acting up again. Then, a hand was placed under my shoulder to lift me up and my inhaler was pressed against my lips. I opened my mouth and the medicine was released. After 3 or 4 times my strength was coming back.
Katsuki picked me up and brought me to what I think is my bed. Everything was spinning and I knew I must've looked like a pathetic idiot having an attack like that. Tears welled up in my eyes; I don't even care anymore. I let out a few more coughs but I was ok. His hand was rubbing my back again and I knew I was safe. He didn't judge me, no matter how much of an idiot I look or act like he doesn't judge me.
Why?
Katsuki's P.O.V.
I held the inhaler in my hand just in case she had another attack. Her eyes were puffy but her breathing was normal now. She just let me rub her back and hold her close. Her grip on my shirt became loose and I heard soft snores.
"It'll be ok. I'm here." I say staring at he soft facial features. I wonder what else this has in store for us. "I love you, Karma"
"I love you too, Katsuki" she smiled.
