Akinata's P.O.V.It's been ten months of sweat and bloody training. I've lost a lot of fat and gained a lot of muscle in return. Since I've been training I haven't had time to hang out with Deku. The exam is in 1 hour and I'm questioning whether or not if my family background will interfere with my score.
I got dressed into a pair of camo, guys utility pants, a tight, breathable, black, sleeveless, crop top and put on my black and red, lace-up high tops. You could see my muscles from the tightness of the shirt. While I got dressed my music blared to drown out my father. Damn, self-love is a thing now I guess.
"GET YOU ASS DOWN HERE!!" My father yelled from downstairs OVER my music. I sighed.
I grabbed my bag, a jacket to cover up for right now, shut off my music, and walked down the stairs. When I reached the bottom he grabbed my shirt and pushed me against the wall.
"Where do you think you are going? We have work to do and now you skip out. IF YOU LEAVE THIS HOUSE AND JOIN THAT HERO SCHOOL DON'T YOU EVER THINK ABOUT COMING BACK HERE!" he yelled in my face as he let go. I kept my head up, glared at him while walking out the front door. I heard my brother and sister snicker from the kitchen.
"What a great 'good morning' from my father," I said to no one but myself and my shadow.
I sighed. I'm probably not gonna make it into UA anyway. Why am I even trying?
If I do this and become a hero than maybe Villians like my family can be imprisoned and kids like me from families like mine can be saved. Why would anyone care? Why am I trying so hard?
"...maybe I should just go home?..."

The group I was with had just gotten to the gates of the fake city with the robots/points.
The gates opened and people ran in trying to find targets. I, on the other hand, was figuring out what was going on with the point score.
'They most likely have rescue points and combat points. I just need to see how many people I can save and get points for it along with fighting. I won't show off my quirk to the max but I will use part of it.' I thought while defeating eight 3 pointers and four 2 pointers, using my blue fire and blue electricity that I copied from the other students.
I continued to destroy more 3 pointers until I saw some of the kids start running in the opposite direction. I looked up and saw the 0 pointer. We only have about 4 minutes left.
Some boy with purple hair was stuck under some rubble. The robot was about to step on him.
"Damn. What a pain." I said as I jumped in the air and landed on the robot. I placed both my hands on it and surged electricity threw the robot and jumped off. Making a barrier around the boy and me with my fire so if anything were to fall on the barrier it would melt it immediately. I started to move the rubble and got him out.
"Thanks." He said while unsteadily placing his feet on the ground. I sighed, placing an arm around his waist and moved his arm over my shoulder, carrying him away from the exploding robot and rubble.
"I'm Hitoshi Shinso. " He told me quietly.
"Karma Akinata," I said and he nodded.
"What's your quirk? Electricity? Fire?" He asked.
I shook my head indicating that he was wrong. He tilted his head to the right while staring at me. Present Mic yelled that time was up and recovery girl took Shinso from me, taking him to her office.
Now that the day is over I walked home and kinda hoped I did well in the exam. Earlier I wanted to go home because I thought that I shouldn't have tried but now that I saved Shinso during the exam, even though it was a simulation, it felt...right. I need to keep trying.
Like most nights, I ate dinner by myself while my family went out to cause trouble in the city. Why do that have to be villains? Why can't they get caught already?
If they got caught what would happen to me? Would I be left alone? Being alone, huh. Like that's new.
