The Morning, Six A.M.
Blake sits at the table staring at Harvey, he bites his nails What the fuck did I do. Harvey stirs in her sleep. Soon she jolts awake and runs to the bathroom, retching is heard from the other side of the wall. Blake moves towards the doorway.
"Hey are you okay?" He says leaning on the doorway. Harvey wipes her mouth.
"Peachy. What the hell happened," She takes a few deep breaths and looks up at him.
"Karen was hurt pretty bad, you were too drunk. And uh you have vomit on your sweater, get changed i'll be outside." Harvey looks down at her shirt with disgust she gets up and heads into the main room. Blake walks outside into the hall. Harvey trots out minutes later. They walk down to the clinic together.
The clinic
Karen sits in the hospital bed wheezing, Jade sits asleep in a nearby chair. Ronnie holds Karen's hand. As Harvey and Blake walk in Ronnie releases her hand and looks to them.
"Shes stable.." Ronnie says and looks to Karen "We should postpone the meeting, Harv go make an announcement t-" Ronnie is cut off by Karen.
"No. I have to go I'm their leader now, I can't be weak or show that what has happened will effect me. In the meantime we have six hour to prepare. Blake and Harvey go and find that bastard Richard, lock him up somewhere. Ronnie once Jade wakes up go change then help me look presentable," Everyone stands around looking shocked. "GO." Blake and Harvey scurry off while a nurse hands Karen some pain killers.
Noon
Everyone is gathered in the main lobby, standing around the stage. On stage Karen, Ronnie, Jade, Blake, and Harvey stand together. Alex and Sam are in the crowd. Karen struggles to stand but tries her best to hide it.
"This bunker is our life now. We follow laws, we do as we would on the ground. I am your leader. We must survive long enough for them to open those doors, so live life to the fullest and make this small world something much much bigger. We must care for each other and protect each other." Karen says loudly looking out at the crowd of nearly 100. Alex and Sam link hands. Ronnie stares to Karen with a bright smile. Harvey silently takes the engagement ring off her finger and into her pocket.
