Me: Are we fine here?

Megumin: Not yet.

Hello and good morning. Today I had nothing special to do and Megumin asked me for help with something related to her explosion magic. We were walking through the forest, leaving more and more of the city in search of a good place to blow it up. Thanks to the money I earned with my last mission, I bought two more scrolls that allowed me to learn two new skills. I would like to try them in the same place. Aqua and Kazuma stayed in the city to look for a new place to live away from the stables. Honestly, if I had stayed, Aqua would have asked me to lend her some cash. Because I defeated the king cabbage, I won a reward of one million of Eris. But the bastards only gave me the reward for the king, not for the others cabbages!

Me: Hey, if you want to do magical stuff, shouldn't you be doing it on your own?

Megumin: If I did that, who would carry me home?

Me: What?

Megumin: After one shot, I can't move anymore. 

Me: In other words, you asked me to come here to be your means of transportation, isn't it?

Megumin: And to open your eyes and make you follow the path of explosions with me.

Me: That is not going to happen any time soon. I like my class, thank you very much. Right here is fine, right?

Megumin: Just a little bit further! If I don't do it somewhere far from town, I'll be scolded by the guardsmen again.

Me: Did you- Did you just say "again"? Exactly how many times did you cast "explosion" near the city?

Megumin: Just once!

Me: Jiiiiiii~ *stare*

Megumin: O-Okay, maybe about s-seventeen times...

Me: I'm surprised that you haven't been arrested because of that yet. *gasp* That is why they call you a nuisance! Because of the noise!

Instead of answering, Megumin nodded twice while her face was red because of the embarrassment. Man, she is cute. You can't say no to a face as adorable as that.

Megumin: Konosuba!

Me and Megumin walked through the forest for a couple more minutes and found an abandoned castle in the distance. Who the hell builds a castle in the middle of nowhere and leaves it abandoned? Waste of space dude! 

Megumin: I'll use that! Surely nobody will complain if I obliterate that! 

Me: I don't know. Something about this castle gives me a bad feeling.

Megumin: Oh come on, it will be fun!

Me: If you say so...

Megumin: Crimson-black blaze, king of myrlad worlds, though I promulgate the laws of nature, I am the atlias of destruction incarnate in accordance with the principles of all creation. Let the hammer of eternity descend unto me! EXPLOSION!

Megumin cast her spell, causing a huge explosion in the abandoned castle. The shock wave of the explosion reached to where Megumin and I were standing. Those are the best fireworks I saw in my life, because I just reincarnated in this world after I died! Get it?! Hahaha... That was lame.

*Thud*

Me: Huh?

I looked at the floor and saw Megumin laying on the ground without any strength but even so, she managed to raise her head and see her work of art.
