Here you were, pinned against the wall by Undyne, Captain of the Royal Guard. You squeezed your eyes shut, waiting for her to strike. You had never once attempted to fight back. Were you really that weak?
The thoughts of Sans and Papyrus being put to death made you shiver slightly. The only reason Undyne planned to execute them was for helping the enemy escape harm's way. But, there was nothing wrong with that. Maybe in her eyes, but in yours it showed that there was kindness down here. Monsters did have good in them, they had just been taught that it was a weakness that shouldn't be shown.
They were innocent and so were you, none of you deserve to die. You can't go out without a fight. You have to protect those you love, even if you die trying.
*You felt yourself fill with DETERMINATIONYou pushed your leg against Undyne's chest and pushed her away. She was taken aback by this and dropped you onto the floor. You backed away from her slowly and she narrowed her eye.
"You little..." Undyne growled as she summoned a flurry of red spears in front of you.
You quickly began to run as they flew towards you. You could hear the spears hitting the ground inches from your feet as you ran.
"I will not loose to a simpleminded human!" Undyne yelled angrily.
You had run out of area to run and without thinking, you climbed onto the railing of the stairs and jumped onto the couch below. You quickly sprang up and sprinted off the couch into the kitchen.
"Don't just stand there you idiotic dogs, catch the human!" Undyne yelled angrily.
You quickly dug through the silverware drawer and pulled out a chef knife. You didn't want to use this but, you thought it may make you look more intimidating.
You heard footsteps running towards the kitchen so you quickly jumped onto the counter. A big dog monster ran in, he had strong black armor that covered his body. In his gloved hand he held a pointy and recently sharpened spear, his gaze was filled with bloodlust.
He let out a deep bark as he thrust his spear in your direction, you jumped out of the way and ran across the countertop past him. You jumped down, knife in hand and ran back into the living room.
Toriel, Papyrus and Sans were all trying to break free of their captors, they wanted to help you but, it seemed they were outnumbered. You thought you could see Sans wink as he suddenly disappeared. What was he up to?
You looked around, unsure of where to go. The sound of boots running towards you made you panic.
"Get back here, you coward!" Undyne yelled from the staircase.
You looked at her and then at Toriel and Papyrus, you took a deep breath and ran into the crowd of Royal Guardsmen that held them to the wall.
The Guardsmen let go of Toriel and Papyrus when they saw you coming and suddenly, Papyrus' right eye socket flared a bright red. Now he was free and ready to fight.
A wave of bone attacks appeared in the air and were thrown at the Guardsmen. Papyrus took long strides over and pushed you behind him protectively. Toriel formed flame attacks and attacked the guard furiously.
Undyne growled, "How the hell did they escape?!"
You could barely see what was going on but you suddenly heard the sound of some attack being summoned, it was quite loud. You peeked over to see Sans standing beside a dog-like skull creature, he had it aimed right at Undyne.
