As I jerked up from that dream I panted feeling my heart rate beating extremely fast I took deep breaths slowly and steadily slowing my heart rate down my hair covered my eyes as I pushed my hair to the side I saw my reflection on the door, my door had a mirror I looked and saw how my eyes no longer held a glimmer a emotions in them, nor did I ever want that again. As I got up I heard a slight whine and glanced behind me and saw a tentacle plant.
"Oh yeah I better feed it." I Said as I grabbed a glass of water off my desk pouring it into the pot the plant tentacles swayed happily and as it was about to show affections towards me I pushed it reaching tentacle away from me. It whined I shook my head and walked out of my room and looked at the clock hanging on the wall it read "11:58 a.m."
"Almost afternoon huh." I Said as I walked into the kitchen I glanced and saw that my home phone had 3 messages on it. As I was about to listen to the messages I got sucker punched in the back and backed up. I saw a woman, her name was Keiko she was my abusive girlfriend, I didn't really know why I was with her we slept in different rooms and any or all interactions we have is her beating the crap out of me for stupid thing.
I just stood their after Keiko punched me she smiled as she saw blood drip from my bottom lip.
"Sorry I got home late baby." I Said.
"YEAH RIGHT YOU WERE PROBABLY FUCKING ANOTHER WOMAN PIECE OF SHIT." Keiko said before pushing me to the ground and kicking me hard in the ribs as she left the house I laid their thinking, why I let her do such horrible things to me I didn't know why, but it was better than thinking of "him" I just deluded myself into a false happiness to forget about him. As I sat up I wiped the blood dripping from my bottom lip. I got up and pressed the play button on the answering machine.
The first message played as follows. "Hey Josh we need to talk about the tentacles call me back." Said the individual. I breathed out.
Second message played. "Baby........Joshy we need to talk please call me back please." Said the message. I deleted his message feeling my chest in a sharp pain as it felt like someone stabbed me in the chest. As I did the last message played. "Hello Josh it's Luna sorry to call after we talked but can you please help out the higher ups with their tentacle research your folks really don't know what to do." Asked the woman as the message ended. I thought about it for a minute thinking of my parents I glanced and saw the tentacle plant crawling on the floor.
"Come here you." I Said as I waked over to it, the tentacle shakes frightened and I picked it up. The tentacle plant rubbed against my face and I flinched a little closing my left eye.
"S-stop that." I Said as I did it wrapped some of its mass around my neck and purred softly as it wrapped itself around my neck gently.
"Fine fine just be good." I Said as I was about to grab my keys the plant tentacle pulled a jack skeleton zip up holding it in front of me.
"I don't need it I'm used to the cold." I Said putting my arm out not wanting to put it on. The tentacle plant used two of its tentacles and formed hands pushing my hands up and putting it on me and returning tentacles back to normal.
"I already told you I didn't need it." I Said a little flustered and annoyed with a distraught look on my face. I felt the tentacle plant kiss my neck.
"H-hey I already told you to not do that jeez." I Said as I left the house I felt my face getting a little red I felt the tentacle plant wrap slightly tighter around my neck feeling it warm around my neck I put my hands in my jacket pockets.
"You should just find a new master already." I Said as I walked I felt the tentacle plant push one of its tentacles into my left sleeve forming a hand grabbing my left hand intertwining it against mine.
"Your Stupid you cant bond with me anymore and you won't be fulfilled I'm trying to help." I Said as I walked using my right hand to pull the tentacle formed hand away from my left hand. The tentacle plant pulled its tentacle away and snuggled up around my neck tightly purring warmly falling asleep. I sighed and as I walked up to the building a few guards stopped me.
"I'm the owners' son." I said politely.
"Yeah right go on." Said the guard pushing me back with his gun.
"I-I am I promise you." I begged telling the guards.
"Shut up already and scram!?" Yelled the other guard smacking me in the face with the butt of his stock and I fell to the ground on my back as blood dropped down my nose. I heard footsteps quickly approaching me.
"Sir?!" Said the guard.
"Stand down he's my son." I heard a familiar voice the man grabbed my arm sitting me up it was my father I looked at him, and he wiped my nose and turned my face side to side making sure I didn't break anything. I could feel my father was pissed and saw his tentacles flare as they swayed angrily, feeling his hands on my face I opened my mouth and felt my mother tentacles suck on my tongue for a split second before pulling away happily.
"S-son?" Said my father surprised.
"Don't it'll look bad just forget about it." I Said as I got up.
"I can't ju-" Said my father as I put my hand out stopping him.
"Stop just.......stop." I Said as I walked past the guards they looked at me with such hateful and bitterness. It was familiar I knew how the working class people saw me a son of a wealthy business that had everything, but it was furthest from the truth. As I walked inside of the new building my parents owned I saw Luna and Quotes older brother talking as me and my father passed by them quotes older brother grabbed my hand. My dad stopped looking at him.
"Go on Dad I'll just be a minute." I asked reassuring him I was gonna be fine.
"What happened?" He asked.
"Just a misunderstanding nothing more Carter." I said Explained.
"I see." Carter said letting go of my hand.
"J-josh.......you look......n-never mind nothing." Said Luna looking away I caught a glance at her eyes pity, and doubt seemed all I was around to do was worry others around me as I walked off I heard a very hurtful voice.
"JOSHY?!" Yelled quote behind me. I continued to walk and heard slightly what his brother told him before I couldn't hear them.
"Quote stop." Carter said.
"But I?" Said Quote.
"Just leave him be I remember those eyes pisses me off thinking that a child like him hurts like this. But I can't do anything like I did before just holding him that day we met made me have faith that he'd have someone to look after him." Said Carter. I knew he was right about that day and I don't blame him he was always the type to stand up to anyone I just didn't have that in me I was just a push over and nice to everyone even for those who didn't deserve it. As I caught up with my dad I saw him look angry, I stayed silent as he and I walked as we made it to the back I saw my mother with a few baby tentacles. She was planting them in a few nearby pots.
"Yay your back.....Josh what happened?" Asked my mother.
"Nothing." I Said. My mother walked up to me and her tentacles came out and scanned over my face and went into my nose and cummed a little healing the small internal damage in my nose and her tentacles pulled out and rubbed against my face happily and I pushed them away.
"It's been a while since we three are here together hehe." Said My mother.
"Cut to the chase you two." I Said as I did I felt the tentacle plant around my neck wake up and yawn.
"Oh your tentacles look so good baby." Said my mother looking at me.
"There not mine I just feed them that's it nothing else." I Said as I pulled it off my neck it whined as I did and I handed it over to my mother.
"Son it still-" I cut my father off.
"Just stop I didn't need it when I was a orphan I don't need it now." I Said as I was getting pent up panting softly.
"Oh Joshy." Said my mother as her tentacles wrapped around me hugging me, I could feel my father slowly follow as his wrapped around me. I felt my heart beat slowing as I felt secure in their embraces. As they slowly pulled away my mom held my plant tentacles in her hand it whined towards me. I shook my head and kneed down looking at the baby plant tentacles in their pots.
"Josh hows was your able to survive without being attached to your head?" Asked my mother.
"I realize that the tentacles that you two put in my head bonded to me were babies at the time but I did also find out that mine had a very strange and abnormal gene that allows it to bond with anyone but only if it knows the partner it bonds to will accept it flaws through in and out." I Explained.
"You mean it's lust, and loving nature." Said my father.
"Yeah it's been able to survive this long because of the natural attachment it's gotten to me but it's also been secretly sucking on my tongue while I sleep." I Explained. I could hear the tentacle plant squirming around whining and crying loudly.
"U-uh h-how is that possible?" Asked my father.
"Tentacle plants are sentient beings they think, they love, they yearn, and they reproduce. Mine must just be one of the rare ones that you guys stumble upon." I Said as I was letting the baby plant tentacles feeling my fingers. As I pulled my hand away the babies swayed happily and I got up and turned around and looked at my parents. I saw my mom hold out her hands with the plant tentacle towards me. I closed my eyes and held my arm out and the plant tentacles jumped at me and wrapped around my arm and crawled up to my neck wrapping around my neck tightly snuggling tightly and kissed my neck passionately whining.
"Why does she stay with you?" Asked a familiar voice.
I glanced behind me and saw my older sister.
"Oh it's you Hana." I Said and my plant tentacle growled I pet it gently and it purred softly slowly going to sleep.
"Yeah." Hana said.
"I don't know I truly don't know Hana." I said as I was about to leave the room I felt Hana grab my arm.
"Not gonna stay to see our little brother." Hana asked grinning.
"No I was never part of this family I was just a kid that your parents felt bad for nothing else." I Explained, I gently pulled the tentacle plant from my neck and put it on her shoulder. Hana pulled her hand off mine a little shocked. As I walked out I could hear my family talking with each other but I didn't bother to listen. As I walked down the cold hallway I felt a hand grab mine tightly.
"You are a part of this family son he wants to meet you very badly." Said my dad gripping my hand.
"You guys finally have a true son who will take over the business for you and your wife I'm not that kid anymore just forget about me." I Said as I tried pulling my hand away.
"You are apart of my family Joshua your kind, smart, and a loving person why do you reject it?" Asked my father questioning me.
"Easy it's better to just let those attachments go." I Said as I pulled my hand out, as I made it outside my jack skeleton jacket flew off me and blew into the wind as the wind was blowing hard I saw Carter waiting and looked at me.
"You need to get somewhere warm you'll die if you try going home in this weather." Carter said.
I didn't care I walked past him and I felt his tail wrap around my waist.
"Just leave me alone!?" I Said as tears ran down my face gripping my fist. I felt his tail pull me close to him.
"Quote." Said Carter.
"Yes big brother?" Said Quote.
"Take Josh to the breeding room and you better not let him go." Said Carter looking at Quote.
Quote nodded and gently pulled his brother tail off Josh and wrapped his big tail around Josh's waist and picked him up by his thighs pulling Josh's head against Quote's neck. As he walked carrying a Josh into the breeding room the other foxes whistled at Josh.
"Pigs all they want is my body that's all they ever wanted me for just a tool....to........us..............e" I said falling asleep against Quotes warm and soft furr. As Quote set me down on the grass I felt him push me over his big tail wrapping it around me entirely laying down on top of me pressing his body down against mine his nose pressed against mine.
"I'm sorry Joshy I made a mistake please forgive me." Quote Said falling asleep close to Josh.
