A small note came with the parcel. Written in neat cursive handwriting, and was scented with men's perfume.

It says,

Dear Yassie,

      Are you free this Friday? I mean, I really want to talk to you about something, just meet me at the nearby cat café. Wear this advanced gift from me for your birthday. Please be there for me! ❤

"How did he know about your birthday? That smells fishy, I don't trust him." Zach says, a low growl in his voice.

"But what's inside the box though?" He adds.

Yassie shrugs and slowly unties the purple ribbon on the box.

Inside was an adorable backpack with a bat design on it, the black backpack had little bat wings on the side making it look as if the wearer has a small pair of cute bat wings.

The batpack had a small ribbon on the top, making it look more feminine.

"Wow, this is actually pretty cute, though it would be rude if I didn't meet him at the café, but I don't really have a choice do I?" Yassie paced back and forth in her room, thinking and thinking.

Zach looked at his watch and his eyes widened.
"Holy guacamole! I gotta go home! It's getting quite late Yassie, see you next time!"

"Bye." Yassie gave him a small wave.

That Friday, Yassie used the bag that Hotarou sent to her. She sat at the bench, waiting for Hotarou to arrive.

Then, she felt two hands cover her eyes,

"Am I late?" She knew that voice, it was Hotarou. They only spoke once when he asked Yassie her address when he was driving his sister and her friends home.

"Not that late, but still, kinda? I suppose." Yassie said, feeling awkward.

"Well then.......shall we?" Hotarou offers her his hand. She take it and he pulls her up and smiles.

"Don't worry, I'll be paying for the food."

"Oh, um...o-okay then." She blushed.

Little did both of them know, a jealous person was staring at them.

From the mall across the street, Ashton was carrying many bags from different stores, while his current girlfriend, Aiko, was busy looking at different store windows.

"Is that Yassie?" He mumbled.

Aiko looked at the direction he was looking at.

"Ooh! Yep! That's her alright. Big brother likes her, actually."

Aiko giggled, happy for her brother.

Ashton was jealous of Hotarou, the clear reason? He suddenly realizes that his feelings for Aiko are fading away, but seeing his best friend with someone else kinda triggered him.
*the screen vibrates*
