I swear that that lady thought I was joking at first. You should have heard her laugh at us. My boys both put a hand on one of my shoulders and pushed me away from the counter to behind them. They stepped right up to the counter and leaned over.

"Excuse me ma'am. School starts in 10 minutes and we really need to know what classes we will be in. Please place us in the same schedules so that we are more comfortable." Tk is being as demanding as ever...

"I am sorry. I cannot allow you to come here like this. No proof of age and no records. Absolutely not." She looked as hard as stone and acted twice as cold...

"Are you sure we cannot attend your beautiful school? Aren't public schools supposed to be for delinquents like us who can't go anywhere else? Please ma'am. There is a reason we have no records but..." Cameron begins to tear up. "I am sorry it is just... mmmmm." His lip trembles and a tear slides down his face.

"Aww! Sweety don't cry! Ohhhh.... I suppose I can let you three in. I just need your names and I will place you in a makeshift schedule." Amazing! Cameron cracked the stone with his golden needle! I smiled at this.

"My name is Kainda Jowell."

"They call me Tk. Tk Joda."

"I..." Cameron sniffles. "I am Cameron Cro..." he trembles. "Cromwell." Cam bursts into full blown tears. I rub his back and hold his head to my chest to 'comfort' him. The lady types something into the computer and hands Tk three papers.

"These are your schedules. Please don't lose them. Have a good day!" Directs this towards Cameron. "Honey don't cry! Everything will be just fine." We walk out into the hallway and Cameron is still crying.

"Dude! You did it!" Tk looks down at Cam. "Why are you still crying bro?" Cameron just kept sobbing into me. I rubbed his back some more.

"It's just so sad! Three runaways, one with no family and two who just disappeared! I am so sad!" Cameron keeps crying. Oh Cameron...

"Stand up bro." Cameron stands up and wipes the tears from his eyes. "Good." Tk and I wrap Cameron into an embrace and hug him tightly. "We are all here together Cameron. You don't need to cry anymore. We are all in school now and are here together. There is nothing to worry about." Cameron just barely nods at my words.

"Can we go to class now Cameron? We will already stick out enough and we don't need to be late on top of that." Tk... You can be so insensitive. None the less, Cameron just nods and we all walk off to the second floor for our first class.
