The day has finally come for Jiyong and I to go our separate ways, me going on tour and him going into the military.
This morning has been rough. Neither of us wanted to get out of bed, but we finally did. We got around doing our morning routines. We aren't talking, it's just silent. I don't think either of know what to even say right now. We will be riding together to the airport and that is where we are going separate ways.
It really breaks me to think about us being away from each other for so long. Anything can happen in that time. I just want us both to stay strong and we will be together again soon enough.
I finish getting ready and grab my bags. I look over to Jiyong.
"Are you ready?" I ask softly. He looks up at me and nods slightly. He grabs his suitcase and we both walk out of his house and onto the sidewalk. Jiyong gets a taxi for us and we put our stuff in the trunk. Jiyong opens the door for me and I get in the taxi. He sits next to me and tells the driver to go to the airport. I get my phone out and call Yoongi. He picks up on the first ring.
"Hey Yoon. We are on our way." I tell him.
"Okay. We are just a few minutes from the airport. We will see you there."
"Okay. Love you Yoon." I tell him.
"Love you Tab." We both hang up. I glance over at Jiyong and he is looking out the window. I reach my hand over and gently grab his hand and intertwine it with my own. He lightly squeezes it.
We got to the airport sooner than I wanted and my heart sinks when we pull up in front of it. Jiyong helps me out and helps with getting our bags out. We walk into the airport and I spot my group immediately. They wave slightly as we walk up to them.
"Our flight leaves in ten." Namjoon tells me. I nod slightly.
"So does mine." Jiyong mutters. We all start to walk toward our take off areas, which are next to each other. My group all gets checked in and I wait for Jiyong to do the same. I meet Jiyong in the middle and we just look at each other. I grab one of his hands, while still looking at him.
"We will see each other soon." I say softly. Jiyong steps closer to me and I can see that he is trying not to cry.
"I'm going to miss you so much." He says. I nod.
"I'm going to miss you too." I tell him.
"Don't fall in love with anybody while you're on tour." Jiyong smiles softly.
"You're the only one for me." After I say this he wraps his arms around me tightly.
"I love you. Please be safe." He whispers.
"I love you too." I whisper back. Jiyong lets me go and kisses me quickly. He turns around and heads off to board. I turn around too and my group is all looking at me. I start walking to them.
"Are you going to be alright?" Yoongi asks as I get to them. Tears are going down my cheeks freely. I give him a thumbs up.
"I'm fine." I mutter as I walk through them to board our plane. Yoongi catches up to me and grabs my hand.
"Well you have to put up with me until you see him again." Yoongi smiles. I softly smile and chuckle.
"I'm fine with that." Tour here we come.
*21 months later*
I had counted down the days and bought my airplane tickets just for this day. BTS is still on tour like our manager had predicted. We even have a show today, but I made it clear to everyone that I will not be performing the show. I have a certain someone to see. I wanted to surprise him when he got back home.
My flight seems to take forever and I'm so happy when it finally lands. My heart beats faster as I walk off the plane and into the airport. His plane will be here any minute. I walk over to the spot where he will be getting off. There is a crowd of other people here waiting for loved ones too.
Just a few minutes later people from the flight start coming into the airport and I look around for Jiyong. It takes me a few minutes to finally spot him. My heart stops. I never thought this day would get here. Finally he's home. I start waving my hand.
"Jiyong!" I yell. Jiyong looks my way immediately and he looks shocked. A few seconds later he grins and I start running to him. I collide into him and he picks me up. Our lips touch and it feels greater than it did before. We both look at each other and smile.
"It's so fucking nice to see your face." Jiyong tells me. I grin at him.
"That was too long to be apart." I say. Jiyong smiles.
"Lets not go that again."
"Totally good with that."
"Aren't you on tour?" He asks me and sets me down. I nod my head.
"I took a few days off to come here to see you." I tell him. Jiyong bites his lip.
"God I love you." He says. I smile and take one of his hands.
"I'm so glad you're back." I say and lean against his side as we start walking out of the airport.
"Let's go get you in my bed." Jiyong says softly. I lightly hit his arm.
"Is that all you can think about?" I ask with a smirk.
"For twenty one months." He replies. I start laughing.
"I love you Jiyong." I say quietly. We are finally together again and this time forever.
