Gavin and I were assigned a case involving what appeared to be a homicide victim. We were both silently sitting in Gavin's car as he drove to the crime scene, and he suddenly says, "So are they gonna replace all of us with plastic pricks like yourself?" I blink and look at him calmly, and say, "CyberLife will do whatever it feels like doing. Even if that means people lose their jobs." Gavin huffs and slows down by the sidewalk, parking the car, and getting out.

I get out as well, and walk behind him into the victims house, and scan the room when I walk inside. Clear evidence of a struggle, broken furniture, an overturned table, and one cabinet on the wall that's no longer on straight. I look at the body of the victim. Blunt force trauma was the cause of death. I scan them, crouching to see them better.

Amelia Rachel Hurst. 34 years old. Deceased. Cause of death: blunt force trauma. Blood type: B.

I get up and look around for the weapon. I walk around the house, scanning possible weapons.

"What the fuck is that thing doing?" One of the officers says to Gavin. "How the hell am I supposed to know? I didn't make the damn thing." He says back, watching the tall android walk around the house of the victim.

I stop and pick up a glass measuring cup. I scan it. The blood on it matches the blood of the victim. "Found the weapon." I say calmly, looking at Gavin as  he walks over. "Well good job tin can you probably got fingerprints on it." I blink and say, "Detective Reed, androids do not have fingerprints. And neither does this glass. An android did this."

Gavin rolls his eyes and sighs. "Great. We got a deviant case." He turns to one of the officers, "This is apparently the murder weapon. We got a deviant on the loose." The officer nods, walking over and taking the measuring cup from the android in a white jacket.

I scan the house, trying to figure out where the android escaped from, and come across a small statuette on the bathroom floor, with the word 'rA9' written all over the floor and the walls. I scan it.

rA9 written 4,863 times.

I keep walking through the house and suddenly an HK400 model stumbles out of a wardrobe, nearly knocking me over. I quickly grab it by the wrist and pin it to the floor with ease. Gavin and the others heard the wardrobe burst open, because they appear in the doorway of the bedroom the android and I are in. "I found the deviant."
