Chapter 2

"Carissa. can we talk?"

"Uh, sure Ethan, Whats up?"

"Not here how about we go up to my room?" 

"Okay"

They leave the kitchen and walk upstairs to Ethan's room. 

"What's up Ethan, what's so important that we had to lave our homework and food down with Grayson and why did we have to come to your room to talk?"

"You may not find this important but I do."

"Okay what is it your scaring me."

"It's everyone at school more the guys than the girls."

"Okay what about them?"

"All the guys think your extremely hot and they are going to want to hook up with you sooner or later more sooner than later." 

"Okay that's it?"

"No there's more I just don't know how to tell you because I feel like it going to ruin our friendship if I tell you and I don't want Grayson in on whatever I'm about to tell you."

"Ethan what is it your really scaring me..."

"Well Carissa I don't know how you feel about me but I guess I'm just going to say it and you can leave or whatever if you don't like it or if you are confused and I'll completely understand."

Carissa just sits there in silence waiting for Ethan to tell her what he needs to tell her. 

 "Carissa I've liked you since the first day of middle school. I guess that since I was older I started to realize that I liked you more than a best friend."

"Ethan that's so sweet." 

"I know it's a lot to handle right now especially since it was the first day of high school and just now me telling you. I'm sorry you can leave if you want to." 

"No Ethan I'm not going to leave."

"What why"

"Because I like you too and when i said I loved you in the hall I didn't mean in a best friend way."

"Wait really."

"Yes Ethan I've liked you for the longest time I just didn't know how to tell you and all those little things you do, I notice. Like today when you stood at the top of the stairs and stared, I acted like I didn't notice but I did and I was breaking because I would have never guessed you liked me until today."

Ethan blushes. Ethan was about to get up and go down stairs. Carissa stops him right before he was about to open the door. She grabs him and kisses him. Ethan was shocked, but he grabbed her and kissed her again. They brake the kiss and Ethan locks the door. He picks Carissa up and she wraps her legs around him. He carries her to his bed and places her down without breaking the kiss. The kiss eventually breaks and Ethan starts to take his shirt off.

"Wait woah what are you doing E?"

"Well I thought..."

"We just started dating I'm not ready yet E. I love you and everything I'm just not ready and plus we're only freshmen."

"I'm sorry, I just got caught up in the moment." 

"It's fine E. Put your shirt back on and lets go downstairs ."

Ethan put on his shirt and they went back downstairs to finish their homework.

"Why did you guys go upstairs and talk, what was so important that i couldn't hear it?"

"Nothing you'll find out soon, Gray." Ethan said

"Okay fine but you know that you can never keep a secret from me, and I already have a hunch  at what it is..."

"What is it then?" Asked Carissa trying not to be snobby.

"You guys made it official and now are dating..." 

"Oh wow uh yeah that's actually correct..." Carissa said confused

"Yeah you guys didn't realize that I followed up there when I heard the door close. I heard everything, by the way Ethan what the fuck is wrong with you?!"

"What do you mean?" 

"Trying to fuck Carissa, one you just started dating, two we are only freshman and did you even have any condoms?" 

"I know bro and no I didn't but I was just caught up in the moment..." 

"That is not a good excuse bro..."

"Why are you so mad all of a sudden?"

"I'm not, I'm just telling you that was a stupid move and fucked up."

Before the twins got even more mad Carissa started to pack up her homework and put her shoes on until Ethan noticed.

"What are you doing?"

"Uh I'm leaving..."

"What why?"

"I can't stand to see my boyfriend and best friend fighting over a stupid little mistake..."

Carissa grabs her bag and kisses Ethan on the cheek and leaves. Once she's a block away from the twins house she starts to have a breakdown, realizing that they were fighting about her and that she probably should have said no to Ethan. 

"What the fuck bro your just going to let her walk away... what a great boyfriend you are."

"You're right I'm horrible."

Ethan doesn't even grab his shoes because he knew that Carissa had to be more than a block away and if he put shoes on she'd be farther. Once Ethan get out the door he starts sprinting to Carissa. He eventually catches up to her and she's crying. 

"Carissa don't cry Grayson was just trying to protect both of us, he is right what I did was fucked up and stupid, I need to think before I do that shit..."

"Ethan I don't know if this is going to work out..." Carissa said sobbing because she loved him more than a best friend.
