Chapter 3

"What do you mean?" Ethan said starting to tear up.

"Ethan I love you more than I could ever love anyone but if you and Grayson are going to fight constantly I can't be with you. Grayson is my best friend and you are my boyfriend and best friend I can't loose my best friend and my boyfriend that i have liked since 1st grade..."

Ethan started to cry because as Carissa was saying that she loves him more than anyone he felt the same way and he couldn't loose her and Grayson. They both meant so much to him and couldn't live without them.

"Carissa I'm sorry I promise it won't happen again Grayson just doesn't want us I mean me to fuck shut up and ruin our lives. I'm not saying having a child is a bad thing and ruin our lives but having a kid in 9th grade is just beyond fucked up..."

Carissa started crying again and when she did this Ethan pulled her into him he kissed her on the forehead and hugged her. Carissa felt safe in Ethan's arms. Carissa let go of Ethan to give him a kiss and then hugged him again. They stood in the middle of the sidewalk for about 2 minutes hugging each other and not wanting to move until they were ready.

"Do you still want to go back home or do you want to come back to my house?"

"It is getting late but I don't really want to go back home at the moment and I want to hang out with you, so um I guess your house."

"Okay lets go, we can make a pizza and watch some movies."

"Okay let's go."

Ethan kisses her on the forehead and they held hands back to the twins house. They get back to the house Carissa sets her bag down and takes her shoes off and walks up to Ethan's room. Ethan puts the pizza in the oven and walks up to his room to meet Carissa. She was putting in a movie.

"What movie are we watching?"

"The Exorcist"

"Oh god..."

"I'm sorry we can watch something else..."

"No its fine, the pizza should be done in 10 minutes."

"Okay"

Ethan sat down on the bed with Carissa and watched the first 10 minutes of the movie until the oven went off.

"THE PIZZA IS DONE!!!" Carissa yelled.

"Pause it I'll be right back."

Ethan goes downstairs to get the pizza out of the oven and he cuts it. Ethan knows that Carissa is a sucker for chocolate milk do he poured her a glass of chocolate milk. He walks upstairs with his plate of pizza Carissa's pizza and her milk. He places the plates on the edge of the bed closest to the TV. They both lay on their stomachs and eat their pizza and watch the movie. They both finished their pizza and Ethan took both their plates downstairs and when he came back Carissa was starting to doze off.

"Carissa, do you want me to call your mom to come pick you up?"

"Is it okay if I just stay?"

"Yeah, do you want me to text your mom to bring you some clothes and tell her you're safe?"

"Yes please Ethan."

Ethan texts her mom and waits downstairs for her mom to come. Once her mom arrives at the twins house she hands Ethan her clothes and he told her that they were dating and Carissa's mom got really happy for them. Ethan was nervous to tell her but she took beyond well and he was happy that she approved. Usually the boys get permission form the fathers but Carissa never talked about her dad and every time he's brought up she breaks down. Ethan tells Carissa's mom goodnight and he walks back upstairs and this time she is closer to being dead asleep.

"Your clothes are right here for when you get dressed in the morning."

"Okay thank you Ethan."

"You're welcome, but I'm going to get a pillow and blanket and go sleep on the couch."

"No, Ethan it's fine come here..."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes now get over here!" Carissa said giggling.

Ethan took off his shirt and turned off the lights and layer down next to Carissa. Carissa turned onto her other side to where her back was facing Ethan. Carissa fell asleep while Ethan played with her hair. Once he started to get tired he scooted closer to Carissa and started to spoon her. He really loves her and she really loves him.
