Jackie's P.O.V
I watched as Shawn mingled his way through the crowds of people. He currently had a group of people starting to surround him. He held Emma as his guard brought over a guitar.
"What the hell is he doing?" I asked, glaring at him.
"This one goes out to my best friend." He said into a mic that came out of nowhere.
He handed Emma to my brother as he began to tune the guitar. Most of the guests were now surrounding him. Why does he always have to be the center of attention?! It's his daughter's birthday for fucks sakes.
He looked me directly in the eye as he began to play the guitar.

As everyone erupted into cheers, I looked at him and laughed. People looked in my direction, confused. I quickly covered my giggles by hugging kian.
"What's wrong?"He asked, his eyebrows furrowed.
"He-He does this every time." I laughed, a bit more quietly; swaying in his arms.
"What do you mean?" He asked, still confused.
"As a kid when I would get mad at him, he would sing to me. He knows I love guys who sing. I'm over it tho." I explained.
The DJ quickly moved on and began playing other songs.
"Dance with me." Kian said, looking down at me.
"Of course my love." I smiled back.
Jc whispered something into the Dj's ear and suddenly a new slow song began playing. I raised an eyebrow at Kian as he wrapped his arm around my waist. I wrapped my arms around his neck.
"I love you very much babe." He said into my ear.
"I love you to the moon and back, love." I replied, kissing his cheek.
I laid my head on his chest and swayed along with him.
"You are such a stunning angel, babe." He said, looking down at me.
He slowly leaned in and gave me a long, sweet, and passionate kiss. As he broke it, he laid his forehead on mine. We locked eyes and smiled.
As we stared at one another and continued to dance, everyone erupted into cheers.
"Mama!" Emma yelled, running towards me.
Tears fell down her cheeks and onto her dress. She ran as fast as her tiny chubby legs would take her. As she neared, everyone stared at her, confused. She suddenly tripped and fell.
"What happened baby girl?" Kian asked, picking her up.
"What's wrong baby?" I asked, wiping her tears.
"P-papa s-shwan l-left." She whispered, hugging Kian and laying her head in his chest.
My heart broke as I saw her cry into his arms. As I realized that she wasn't going to stop, I quickly took my phone out and walked into the house.
The phone rung and I heard Shawn cough.
"Hello?" He answered.
"I don't give a fuck if you were invited or not. You get your dumbass self back here or I'll personally go to you and beat the living shit out of you. You're not going to make my beautiful daughter cry on her birthday. You better grow a pair and get here in 2 minutes bitch." I yelled at the phone.
Before he could answer I hung up. I took a deep breath, ignoring the scared caterers. Plastering a fake smile I walked back out. Kian was comforting the crying baby.
"He just went to the bathroom baby." I cooed, slowly taking her from Kian.
"Let me get her a tissue." He said, running into the house.
I saw Shawn slowly make his way back, his bodyguards behind him. He looked hurt, his cocky smile was gone.
"Hey baby, what's wrong?" He said, plastering a fake smile on his face.
"Papa." She cried, turning to face him and putting her arms out.
"I just went to the Uh bathroom, don't cry baby girl. I'm here!" He said, looking me in the eye.
She slowly began to calm down after I signaled Shawn to rub her back and complement her hair.
How and why did I ever fall for such an asshole.
