Army sat at his desk, stressed from the recent lost battle with Team Emperor he continued writing in his manual as he whispered things under his breath. He couldn't help but let out a few tears from all the comments his used-to-be loyal fans said about him. This alerted a beloved inkling with (F/C) tentacles and (E/C) that would make anyone fall to their knees, her name was (Y/N). The inkling opened the bedroom door and approached the boy, concern filling her eyes as she got closer “what's wrong, Army?” she asked as she sat besides him, he just slumped his head into her shoulder as he starts venting about his frustrations from the recent events. (Y/n) just removes his beret and starts softly petting his tentacles while she comforts him “hey, hey… don't listen to them sweetie, you're a wonderful player and they shouldn't hold one defeat against you… how about this, I'll make you some curry and get you cleaned up!” the sweet inkling offered as she hugged him closer. “that sounds nice, (Y/N)... thank you..” Army replied shyly as he blushed by the affection he received “now wash your face up, your face paint is washing away!” she teased before giving him a forehead smooch as she leaves the room to get his meal prepared.
