"You finished that burger fast!" I looked over at Katie and smirked. "Ah! Exscuse me!?" she quickly replied back and softly punched my arm. "Ouch! You punch AND eat like a man!" I said moving closer to her. We had a good laugh until I grabbed her face and leaned in for a kiss. She fell into it and relaxed her shoulders, I guess she meant it when she said she really did like me. I broke the kiss and grabbed her hands, looking her in her eyes. "Katie Thompson, will you be my girlfriend?" it got really quiet and that's when I really got nervous. She looked down at the ground and frowned, and my frown followed. "YES!" she replied and basically jumped on me to hug me, causing me to fall over. We were both laughing and had the biggest smiles on our face. We laid there for about a minute on the ground, she put her head on my chest and I swear that was the best moment of my life.
It was about four o'clock. "We've only been hanging out for two hours.. do you have to leave now?" Katie said with a frown. "I don't have to babe, wanna go to the park or something?" she smiled and kissed my cheek "I'd love to."
