a month without updating she comes back with a chapter..

*Phil's POV*

Instantly, a hush sweeped over the once-buzzing crowd. It was different than when we first came out into the stage, when they erupted into screams and cheers. Now, the arena was so quiet I swear I could hear my heartbeat pounding in my temples, and the faint buzz of the equipment around us. There was an expectant, eager energy in the air, and I felt the eyes of 3,000 people at the edge of their seats, almost humming in anticipation. No one knew what to expect, and neither did I.

Dan squeezed my hand, and then took a step forward.

"Oh come on, don't act like you didn't see that coming," Dan finally broke the silence, and his sarcastic tone making the crowd finally loosen up, laughter ringing around the arena.

"Phil obviously couldn't resist this," Dan pointed to himself and raised his eyebrows at me, causing me to roll my eyes and smile, while the audience hooted and laughed along with us.

"You wish," I replied, crossing my arms in mock sassiness, causing the audience to shriek even louder.

"Don't say we didn't give the people what they wanted!" Dan pointed at the audience, "Come on, we've all seen the fanfictions," he added, sending the crowd into another round of laughter.

In my peripheral vision, I saw our manager at the edge of the backstage, motioning for us to continue to the show. I nudged Dan.

"Well, the show must go on, right? How about we pull up some of your answers to the online test?" I walked to the side of the stage, revealing the huge screen behind us, displaying some of the fans answers to the quiz.

Dan got the memo, and walked to the other side. "This should be interesting."

And just like that, we continued the rest of the show. It had a very strange energy throughout the whole thing, but it was good. I felt like a huge burden had fell off my chest, and our secret was out for the whole world to see, but I didn't care. I could know freely love my best friend and not care what anyone else had to say about it.

As the show neared and I finished my (epic) diss track, it was finally time for the end of the show, the Interactive Introverts song. Dan began to play the piano, and I sat on the other side of it.

"Once upon a time, there was a boy named Dan, with brown emo hair, and a weird brown tan..."

We sang our hearts out, and the audience was clapping along with us, and I could feel a sense of unity in the air. I looked over at Dan, and he smiled at me knowingly, us both enjoying this sense of contentment. I loved him, and he loved me, and now we had a whole fandom of people who we knew would support us no matter what. I didn't know what the future would hold, but all I knew that was right now, right here, I was singing on stage in front of 3,000 people with my best friend who I also happened to be in love with, and I had never felt happier.

"Thanks for watching,

And for all of the memes.

It's been terrible for our self esteems.

'Cause we're two interactive introverts,

Interactive Introverts

We don't care if it hurt or not,

We just want to give the people what they want

What they want..."

The End
