Red

Chapter 1

   "Get your ass up Ashton, you're going to be late again!" 

   "Fuck." I muttered under my breath.

     I got up and put on my ACDC shirt and dirty black jeans. It was 6:45 and I had to be at school by 7:00. I rushed out of my house, my black Vans not even tied, and set off down the vacant street. I eventually made it into the school building and into Mr. Harvey's classroom. That's when I saw her sitting there, third person in the first row, she is gorgeous and glowing and just, I don't know, she's flat out beautiful, oh Victoria, what I wouldn't do to be your man. I've had a crush on her for so long, I forget when it began, she has silky long flowing red hair, porcelin skin, and icy blue green eyes that make my heart skip a beat when I look into them. We've been friends for a while, but I don't know if she'd like me the same way that I like her.

     "Irwin" Said a loud booming voice. "Get to your seat." I felt my cheeks go red as I walked through the aisle to get to my desk. It seems like no matter where I am I'm always getting into trouble, somehow some way. 

       I sit down at my desk and rest my head on it.

      "Ashton... Ashton.." I heard a low soft voice calling as I was being shaken awake gently. "Class is over. What's the matter Ash? Didn't get enough sleep last night?" Victoria said playfully. 

   "I just can't get myself to stay awake during Mr. Harvey's lectures." I said. I was so lucky to be talking to her. Victoria flicked her hair to the side and said "Most people can't but it's just something you've got to deal with, sadly. Anyways, I have to go, see you later Ash."

   "Wait Red, uhm let's do something after school."

   "Sure, that sounds great actually. Maybe we could go to the fair." She winked and walked away.

   I felt my phone buzz in my pocket and I saw it was Red.

*Hey, meet me by the fountain. :)*

 *Sure thing :)* I replied.

    "Hey Red, nice to see you again." I said trying to be flirty and casual.

   "So are we going to the fair?" Victoria said sounding like an angel.

    "Sure thing." I said with a wink.
