I woke up, my eyes started to adjust and I grew worried, where was I? "Don't worry." I heard a voice call from a distance. I looked  over to where I thought the voice was coming from, she was standing in the doorway, wearing an Iron Maiden The Final Frontier 2010 tshirt and black soffee shirts with bright blue socks, her hair was down and wavy, she looked like she just got a shower but still looked as gorgeous as ever. She was holding a wooden tray with breakfast food on it, and I was glad because my stomach was rumbling. "I brought you some food, I hope you're hungry." She said. "My dad left for work at 6 and won't be back till after 11 because I think he's going to see his girlfriend, so we're okay." I smiled as she said this. It was great, I was hoping that I could stay again because I couldn't bear to see my father anytime soon. I was starting to think about what I must look like but then my thoughts got interrupted by Red coming over, "Sit up, you need to eat." She commanded. I did as I was told. It was nice to be looked after because that's never happened to me before, it was a new and great thing. I ate the sunny side up eggs and dipped the toast in the yolk, my favorite part as always, and I gulped the orange juice down. It was delicious and I was disappointed when I finished.  Red was sitting on her desk chair and watching me eat while on her phone. I looked up at her and she looked back at me and we smiled at each other. "What?" She questioned while laughing.

"Nothing, you just look beautiful, that's all." I said smiling at her. She walked over and sat on the edge of the bed next to me, I brushed her hair out of her face and ran my finger along her jaw line, I held her face with my hand. "Look at me." I said. I wanted to see her beautiful eyes. She looked into mine and I gently placed my lips on hers. I opened my mouth and she let me enter my tongue into her mouth. Our tongues danced in sync for what seemed like forever, one of my hands were behind her neck and the other was at the small of her back, I pulled her closer to me and she draped her arms around my neck. I didn't want to be anywhere but this moment. I want to stay like this forever, me with her, just us. I knew I already loved her but I didn't want to scare her away, I couldn't say that now no matter how much I wanted to.

"I don't want to go any farther than this, I'm sorry if I led you to believe-" Red was trying to explain.

"It's okay, I don't want to either." I said smiling at her and my hands still on her neck and the small of her back. I just wanted to sleep with her so badly, not sex or in a perverted way, but just hold her body, have her close to me with my arms around her, my face in her hair smelling her and just being beside her.

"We need to get you some clothes to wear." She said as I looked down at my still bloodstained shirt.

"I doubt I can fit into any of your dads clothes." I said hoping that I didn't sound too rude.

"Do you think your dad would be home?" She questioned.

"Well what time is it?" I asked.

"It's 11:37." She said as she checked her phone.

"He's probably gambling or something, my mom might be home though but that souldn't matter." I said looking at Red's carpet.

"Okay well then let's go." She said.

We got into Red's blue 2009 Ford Focus, we thought that it'd be better to go in her car and scope out the place to see if anyone was there and if they were they wouldn't notice us because I was going to be in her car. I could feel the anxiety start to build up inside of me. Oh shit what if he was there. "I'm going inside by myself, okay?" I said more of a command than a question.

"Wh- what? Why? I figured that I could help you pack." Red said as she was making her way to my house going a tad over the speed limit.

"No, I can do it myself, it'll be fine. I just need to get in and out anyways. How long should I pack for?" I didn't really know how long I'd be staying.

"Just bring as much as you can. I'm going to have you stay as long as possible. Is there any chance that your parents will file a report to the cops that you're gone?" I pondered over the question for about a second but I knew the answer.

"No they'll be happy that I'm gone." Even though I already knew that my parents didn't want me and that I wasn't even remotely important to them but the statement still stung and made my heart clench once I finished the sentence. It was silence until we pulled into the abandoned driveway. I looked at my house and it seemed as if nobody was inside, I then breathed a sigh of relief. At least I wouldn't have to see them. I ran up the overgrown walkway to my house. The door was unlocked and that goodness because through all this mess I didn't even realize that I didn't bring my key. Once I went inside I went into the kitchen and grabbed my burgundy hoodie that was hanging on the coat rack in between the back door and the small round dinner table. I then proceeded to walk up stairs and go to my room. It was untouched, not a thing was moved at least from what I could tell. I grabbed my duffle bag from inside my sliding glass door closet. I then went over to my dresser and grabbed clothes, as many that I could fit, I then put the box with my razors inside into the duffle bag and I went over to my night stand and retrieved the bottle of pills at the bottom. I collected my phone charger, toothbrush, toothpaste, shoes and anything else I though I could possibly need. I then zipped up my bag and went to the car.

"Shit, I forgot something." I said thinking out loud. "I'll be back." I said as I ran back up the walk way and went into my house. I then ran into the living room and lifted up the third couch cushion and there was the stash, the stash of cash that my dad kept in the house. There had to be at least $2,000 here. I grabbed it all and ran as quick as my body could take me and went into the car, just in time because I could see my mothers car coming down the street. "Go! Go! Go!" I said. "Shit she's coming!" Victoria hurried up and pulled out of the driveway.

"That was a close one." Red said.

"I know, like holy shit! Good thing we took your car." I was breathing heavily since I wasn't used to running.

"What did you forget?" She questioned.

"This." I said as I pulled the wad of cash out from my pocket and showed her.

"Holy shit! Where did that come from?" Red's face was priceless.

"It's from my dad's stash, he gambles and he uses it if he needs anything, he always thought I didn't know about it. He's going to be so pissed but I don't fucking care he doesn't deserve this money." I stopped myself from talking because I didn't want her thinking that I was crazy or anything. I sat in the passanger seat and counted the money while Victoria drove. "$2,637."

"What?" Red said. "You could get arrested for taking that!"

"And he could get arrested for beating me." I said defending my choice of taking the money.

"Why don't you tell a cop then? Or CPS?" She said not looking away from the road. I didn't know where we were going but it was obviously not her home.

"It's not that simple."

"How?" She demanded. I sat there looking down. I didn't want to fight with her I knew she didn't understand but it was harder than it looked, but it made me think, why haven't I ever told anyone like that? "I'm sorry, look I don't mean to be rude, it's just I care so much about you. I know how you feel, my uh my mom actually used to hit me, so I get it. It's just that the only thing that helped was that I told someone and they helped me get out of that situation. I just want you to be safe." I still sat there. I was stunned.

"What did she do to you?" I questioned.

"She choked me, and she uh, she slapped me. She would also call me names. It was hard." Red was getting emotional and I could tell that she was trying to swallow the lump in her throat. I took my hand and placed it on her lap.

"Where are we going?" I asked.
