Niall's birthday was in four days and i am soooo excited. He will be 16!! He is gonna be so old. Ah who am i kidding? He still is a baby.
I was walking to class when i saw my favourite head of blond hair down the hallway. He was talking to Zayn? I walked towards them.
"Look Niall all I'm saying is that i think we should try again" Zayn said.
"Try again? Try again? Zayn this isn't a carnival game. You lost and you can't play again now go make out with someone I'm gonna be late." Niall responded.
"Hey baby is everything okay?" I asked and both turned around to look at me. Niall lit up.
"Oh hey Haz yeah everything is fine Zayn was just leaving" Zayn rolled his eyes.
"Really Niall your with him? Such a downgrade" Zayn muttered.
"Actually unlike you i care for Niall and would never cheat or hurt him. But I gladly will hurt you if you don't walk away very quickly" i told him towering over him. He swallowed and scurried away. I smiled and turned back to Niall.
"Ya know your really hot when your intimidating" Niall said while closing his locker.
"Yeah? Well your hot anyway" he blushed at that.
"So anyway i was thinking that for your birthday after the party at your house you could come to mine and spend the night" i told him.
"Oh yeah that sounds good I'll just have to ask my mom" i nodded. I walked Niall to his history class and then went to mine.
I was leaving class when i was tapped on the shoulder. I turned around to see Zayn. Great.
"What do you want?" I asked him, totally annoyed with him.
"I just wanted to ask what cake your getting for Nialls birthday" he asked.
"Why would you ever want to know that?" I asked him.
"Well because i need to make sure my boyfriends party goes great" he smirked. 
"Correction ex boyfriend and how did you know about the party?" I was confused now.
"I heard Niall in class talking about it. He sounded really excited. Going on and on about how you were planning it and he was so happy. I want to make sure you know that his favorite cake flavor is strawberry with cream cheese icing." I did not know that.
"Oh uh well yeah that's what i was going to get him anyway so" I wasn't. Zayn nodded and walked away.
After school i went to the cake place to get Nialls cake ordered for the party.
"Alright sir what can i get for you?" The cashier asked me.
"Uh I'll have this one in strawberry with cream cheese icing" i told him pointing at the cake in the picture.
"Alright and what would you like it to say?" He asked.
"Happy birthday Niall in purple icing please" i answered.
"Alright and you need this by Friday right?" He asked.
I nodded and paid and left the store. I felt pretty proud of myself for all the work I'd done on this party. It is still odd though that Zayn told me that. Maybe he really did just want the party to go well.
I went home and did homework until i got a call from an unknown number. I answered.
"Hello"
"Hey Harry"
"Uh who is this"
"It's Zayn"
"Zayn why are you calling me"
"I wanted to know if you had any other questions about the party or if you needed help with any of it?" Weird.
"Um no I don't think so why do you want to help me?"
"I care about Niall and this is his sweet 16 so i want it to go good"
"Oh well thanks but i think i got every- oh wait what kind of balloons does he like? Should i get shapes or just regular?"
"Oh easy Niall doesn't like balloons. He says that they just waste air and he gets sad when they pop" That sounds like Niall.
"Oh ok well then what should i use to decorate?"
"Nothing Niall likes simple"
"Oh ok"
"Damn Harry you act like you don't know the boy at all" Of course i do. Don't I?
"I do know him just not party planning details"
We continued to talk for a minute and then we hung up. He gave me some good tips. Maybe he isn't so bad after all. I really think the party is gonna be good.
