Y/n had walked at least three miles, looking around and re tracing her steps around the maze of a hospital.
It had been two hours since arriving and she was beginning to panic. Her heart was racing as she searched and searched.
"C'mon... C'mon..." she whispered to herself. Tears were beginning to form in her eyes.
As she rounded a corner, she tripped over a bed wheel, sending her crashing to the ground. As she looked up, holding her head, she saw what she had been searching for.
"L-Lucas!" She yelled, rushing to her feet.
Lucas was sat, leaning against an old crate, complete covered in cuts and bruises. He looked up at her in despair.
"Y/n?" His voice was weak and cracked. Tears began to fall down his cheeks as the two kids finally met, locking their bodies together and weeping into each others arms.
"I-I-I thought I'd never f-find you" Lucas whimpered into Y/n's shoulder. She held him tightly.
"How do you think I felt.." she giggled weakly.
Just hearing his heart beat gave her peace to the mind.
