Bradley held the gun tightly, keeping it close in his arms as Caleb showed him where to aim. Elliot watched closely. "You gotta keep it snug in the squishy part of your shoulder" Caleb said, gesturing towards his arm. You were sat on top of the car watching closely, snuggly waiting for the gun shot, hands over your ears.
Bradley aimed and finally shot the gun. It made you jump and you fell back slightly, along with Bradley landing on his arse. You sat back up and looked down, seeing Bradley holding his shoulder in pain, still on the floor. He got up and dusted himself being seeing to his shoulder. "Whoa are you ok?" You asked. Bradley glared at you and walked away.
"Come on man don't cry about it!" Elliot yelled to him as he walked away. "Man up, for god sake!" "Can you just give me a minute please?!" Bradley yelled back, getting a little anxious and annoyed. You glanced at Caleb who shrugged his shoulders and went back to his farther. You jumped down from the car and jogged after him. As you caught up with him, he looked back at you before looking away. "What?" He asked. You and Bradley weren't exactly in a great place right now. Since his dad and your mom broke up, you were walking on eggshells around him.
"Is your shoulder ok?" You asked, placing a hand on his. He nudged you away. "Yeah I'm fine" he groaned. You sighed. "Look I'm sorry that our parents broke up ok?" You said, finally giving in. You'd had enough of this behaviour, it's like it was your fault.
"I'm not mad at you" he finally replied, his voice a little shaky. He sounded like he wanted to cry. "Yeah, right.." "It's just, you've still got your mom. She loves you so much. I've got that" he pointed over to Elliot. You looked over and bit the inside of your lip. You sat him down next to you. "You will always have me, ok. And my mom. We care about you more than anything" You smiled weakly. He sighed heavily, his breath filling the air.
He leaned over and wrapped his arms around you. You were stunned for a moment before finally hugging him back. You wished you could stay there forever in each others arms. It was nice to finally know, that all this time, he really did care about you.
