Lucas stood contently for a moment. After running around the hospital for over an hour, he had finally found the last person on his list. And it was you.
You were sat with your legs against your chest, your bare skin keeping cold with the draft that flowed through a broken window beside your bed. Never the less, you continued to stare out of it as you waited for something to happen. He approached you gently, sitting down on the bed and being careful not to disturb you. Your head spun round towards the sinking spot on the bed, your teary eyes landing on Lucas.
"Lucas?"
"Y/N-"
There wasn't another word said before you wrapped your arms around each other, finally connecting the space that had been left between you. You and Lucas lost each other after the wave hit, and haven't seen each other in almost three days. Now you had found each other again, and each vowed to never unlock your hands when they intertwined.
