Loving Can Hurt

We were the best of friends..
You said you'll be there till the end..
Well, you did but..there was something inside me that wanted more..
No one made me feel this way before..

I was in love with you..
I hoped you felt the same way too..
We were almost there..
I felt like we'd be a perfect pair..

But when I finally had the guts to tell you how I felt..
I saw you with a girl..
She made your heart melt..

I felt my heart shatter..
It felt like every second a piece of it just dies..
But what hurt more is when I saw your eyes..
You looked so in love..
It hurt so f**king much..
When you looked at her the way I looked at you..
But I was still hoping you'd see me too..
But no.. and it sucks..

I saw you hug..
I saw you cuddle..
I saw you kiss..
When you're with her, you're always in a state of bliss..
And it hurts...
Because I know that you love her just as much as I love you..
But I know that you'll never feel the same way too..
