LISA'S POV

"I'm so exited, Liz!" My best friend Seulgi exclaims.

"Me too, Seul! I reply with a giggle.

Well, here we are auditioning for YG's new girl group, I know we're pretty young, but we have to give it a shot. I am here because of Seulgi, since she wanted to audition and insisted that I go too. This has always been Seulgi's dream. She has always loved attention and flaunting her talents, she's a very daring girl, that's one of the reasons why I love her so much. But being her best friend came with sime consequences too. I had to give up so much things for her. There are so many thibgs I could have done if I didn't choose her first. But I'm happy
Cus if Seul is happy, then I am too. But I hope she realizes that this is my dream too.

"Pranpriya Manoban and Kang Seulgi, you're up!" Yells the staff. Crap, I'm nervous as heck.

Seulgi and I look at each other and take a deep breath.

We enter the stage as I felt my heart beat like a drum.

"Good Morning girls, what will you be performing for us today?" Asks a judge.

"We will be performing Love Rain by Yuju and Suran." Seulgi replies with a bright smile.

"Alright then, good luck."

(Just imagine which one you like is Seul or Lali. :' ) )

"Wow, that was spectacular." Said one of the judges.

"Magnificent, girls. We will call you later on for further announcements."

Seulgi and I exit the stage and squeal.

"We actually did it, Liz!" Seulgi squeals again.

"I know, I hope they liked it!" I said with a giggle.

We waited for hours and hours.

"Pranpriya Manoban and Kang Seulgi?" A staff asks.

"Yes?" Seulgi replies.

"The judges ask for you."

Seulgi and I hold hands as we enter the room.

My smile faded as I saw the look on the judges' faces.

"Girls." A judge looks us in the eye.

"You both were very magnificent, and your performance was beautiful."  Her gaze softens.

"But we have observed that..." She looked rather uneasy.

"Someone was better." Seulgi's clutch tightened as my heart started to pound.

"We have decided to let one of you go..."

"I'm very sorry girls but we have made our desicion. We want ti keep you..."

"Pranpriya."

Seulgi immediately lets go of my hand and her tears start to form, and so does mine.

"WHAT?!?! H-HOW?!" She cries.

Seulgi looks at me with pain, anger and betrayal evident in her eyes.

"HOW COULD YOU?!?!" She cries.

She storms out of the stage, but before she did, I grabbed her hand and knelt down.

"I'm sorry Seul, I'm sorry! Please forgive me... Please Seulgi, this is my dream too!"

Seulgi looks at me with a mean look in her eyes. It was full of anger.

"I hope I never see you again." She says and jerks her hand away from my clutch.

Seulgi storms off while I sob on my knees.

One of the judges knelt fown to my level and comforted me.

Sweetie, no offense, but real friends will support and love you no matter what. And that girl just left you for her selfishness." She stated.

"I hope you say yes." She spoke with a gentle voice.

I walk on the street, sobbing, bot caring if people have me weird looks.

As soon as I get home, I plop on my bed and cry myself to sleep.

I wake up to a crappy Sunday morning, and the sound of our class' Group chat blowing up.

ImUrBAEmbam: Yo. Heard the news?
Ohhkkaebsooongg: What news?
Yehetohorat: Seulgi left the chat. And the school. And the country.
Ohhkkaebsooongg: What's next Sehun, did she leave planet Earth?!?!
Yehetohorat: No but she left ur heart.
Chennie♡: Shade is being thrown.
ImUrBAEmbam: Yeah, but wuts weird is that she left without a single word.
Nananayeon☆: Huh, wonder what happened.
(Help me the names are so cringy)

I felt my tears drop as I read everything.

Seulgi left.

Because of me.

I open my messages and text the agency.

Good Morning, this is Pranpriya from yesterday. First off, I apologize for the drama yesterday, and send my gratitude to everyone. Secondly, I would like to thank the judges for giving me the opportunity of accepting me in the auditions. It has always been my dream, and I'm truly happy tha I have experienced this. But... regarding everything... I'm very sorry but I have to decline... But I want to thank everyone for their time and patience. Have a splendid day,

"This is all my fault." I kelt chanting, getting louder and louder with each word.

"THIS IS ALL MY DAMN FAULT!" I scream as I fall onto the bed.

My vision strts to blur and my head starts to ache.

"This is all my fault, I'm sorry Seulgi... But when will you give me a chance to choose me first?..." I murmur as I close my eyes.

"I Promise Never To Sing A Note Ever Again."

Then my vision turned black.

I let out a loud gasp.

"Lisa are you okay?!?!" My friends rush to me as soon as they hear me.

"S-Seulgi... I-I'm S-s-sorry..." I murmur.

Chaeyoung unnie rushes to hug me. "It's all a dream, It's all a dream..." she says.

"Lali, it's been years! You keep having these dreams!" Jennie unnie says.

"Lisa, you should get over it. Seulgi chose her selfishness over you. It's not worth it." Jisoo unnie says.

I tried to get over it but nothing worked. It's like my mistake is always replaying in my head...

For once, I tried to choose me. And this is what I get.

Meanwhile....

JUNGKOOK'S POV

Huh, so that's why. I say as I process everything happening in my mind.

Somehow, I pity the girl.

There's something inside of me telling me I have to help her. I know I can help her, and that I can help save the dream.

But I'm not sure how.

But whatever the struggle,
I'm not giving up on her or that dream.
