LISA'S POV

Fifteen years ago, I met this amazing, cute, and funny little girl.

"Look at her, she's too tall! Where are you from exactly? You look like a freak!"

Harsh words were targeted at me every single day. I was young and fragile, but all I could do was bottle everything in. I couldn't bare to see the look on my mom's face once I tell her all the dreadful things these children have done to me. Cus I know she will blame herself again, and that's one thing I never want to happen. I kept it all to myself.
After a while, I started getting blinded by their harsh comments. Is it true? Am I a freak? Don't I belong here? I started believing them.

I started to believe all of it was true.

I started to look down on myself.

I was pathetic.

But on a cold, winter morning, I found an angel.

"Go back to where you came from!" Bambarded my classmate.

I no longer cried or responded, I was used to this. Although I was blank, I was tearing apart on the inside. Every single part of me wanted to die.

I closed my eyes and let my tears flow.

But then something I never expected, happened.

"Leave her alone! Do you want me to tell on you?! GO!"

I looked up, only to see my bullies running away.

And then I turn to see a smiling girl, probably older than me.

"Hey, why don't we go tell the teacher? I promise everhyhing will be better." She smiled.

She ran towards the classroom.

But I tugged on her dress.

"Please... Don't tell..." I begged her.

Her expression softened.

"If that's what you want. But... look at your knee, it's bleeding! Let's go to the clinic! Now! Ppali ppali!" She grabbed my hand and ran to the clinic.

Once we got to the clinic she took some cotton and some medicine.

She was about to put it on my knee but hesitated.

"Deep breath." She said.

I nodded and took a deep breath.

She dabbed the cotton gently and lightly until the bleeding stopped.

"You know, you shouldn't mind those girls. From what I know they're jealous of your height!" She giggled.

"Thanks for helping me." I said, smiling.

"No Problem! I'll be your knight and siining armor." She smiled once again.

Right then, I knew, she was my angel.

"Wow, nice of you to take initiative to help a friend." The nurse popped out of nowhere.

"Thank you maam." She smiled.

"Keep it up, Miss Kang." The nurse smiled once again.

"Miss Kang?" I questioned.

The milky white girl showed me a toothy smile and said,

"You Can Call Me Seulgi!"

........................................................................

"Hello? Did I startle you?" The woman in front asked me, worriedly.

"EONNIE!" Yeri shouted.

She smiled again.
