Twenty. (Awkward Part 1)

AUTHOR'S POV

Lisa stared into the dark sky, standing on her balcony.

She sighed as she reminisced the events that happened today.

How sudden it was, and how much it broke her.

She lost him. She let her go.

We all know it's always painful to let go of someone so precious to you.

And now the gloomy girl wonders.

If he waited for me.

Would it be like this?

Would we have a happily ever after?

Or would it end up much worse?

Tears streamed down her cheeks as she exhales.

So many thoughts were running through her head.

She pictured him and her.

She closes her eyes as she lets out a breathy sigh.

She smiled bitterly.

"This is for the best."

"We were never meant for each other after all."

Small words escaped her mouth slowly.

Every word hurt her deeply.

"Maybe one day we'd see each other with the same look in our eyes." She sighs.

She took one last look at the night sky.

Sad.

The sky's stars were covered by dark clouds. Leaving the lonely moon to light the night alone.

She smiled sadly.

The moon was lonely, yes.

But she lit up the night beautifully, alone.

And that was enough for her liking.

But she will always be reminded of how much more beautiful and lively the moon looks when it has beautiful stars all around it.

Her eyes slowly shut as she drifts off to dream land.

The boy wakes up to a bright light shining upon his eyes.

The sun came in to wake him up for school.

No, it's not Hoseok. ;-;

His eyes slowly flutter open.

He sits upright and sighs.

"What do I do?" He contemplated.

He remembers the painful events of yesterday. From the late confession, to the last phone call.

He couldn't bare to go to school only to see the girl he loved most.

And the girl he hurt most.

Yet he was confused.

She had a boyfriend. She doesn't have to worry about him any longer.

He then thought to himself.

He too, has a girlfriend.

He can't go out and about thinking of another woman when he had a girlfriend for himself.

But he knew he couldn't help it.

Reaching for his phone, he dialed Yeri's number.

"Yeri? Hello?"

"Hi baby, good morning!"
