A fire can start within seconds
And within seconds a fire can destroy a town
Little did I realize I was starting my own fire
And rubbing the sticks the wrong way
I kept rubbing them, unsure of what I was doing
When the fire sparked I expected only myself to get burned
Expecting my burn to become a scar
The scar would be a little reminder of what I did wrong
I didn't expect to see flames
Sparks but not flames
I didn't expect my fire to grow
I didn't add anything to the fire
I wanted it to die down
But it only grew
It started to spread out burning everything
I just sat back and watched
As something so delicate and hopeful, fell apart
The burned trees started to fall
Trying to land on the girl who started the fire
I did'nt run and wanted to accept it
For I was the reason the fire had started
It continued to destroy, losing control of its flames
I continued to watch it
And let its flames touch me
But it was already too late
For the beauty around me was burnt crisp
Looking back...
I expected only myself to get burned
But, a fire can't chose what it burns

We are all Just Human (Poetry)
PoetryWe have all felt like an Outsider alone in the world. We destroy our self esteem, and cry ourself to sleep. We have all hurt ourself and others to feel better. We do this all because we are human. And human is all we are going to be.
