Your smiling is fading
away with your soul
I can't seem to bring back
the beauty you used to behold
Im tugging and pulling
your happiness down
Thinking that it will
all come back around
The light that you
occasionally bring to me
Reminds me constantly
how you used to be
I blew out your
candle light
And I know
that it isn't alright
You aren't the same
anymore
You changed so much,
and what for?
I feel as if he is part
of the reason
He comes and goes
just like the seasons
I see the way he
yells at you
If he only knew what
you've been through
We all took away
your spark
And all we left you with
was this mark
A little reminder
of who you used to be
Sometimes I wish, we could all let go
so you can finally be free

We are all Just Human (Poetry)
PoetryWe have all felt like an Outsider alone in the world. We destroy our self esteem, and cry ourself to sleep. We have all hurt ourself and others to feel better. We do this all because we are human. And human is all we are going to be.
