Steve wasn't sure what was going on with him, what Herobrine had done. He had no clue if even Herobrine knew, or if he intended this at all.
All of this just added to his worries, especially after he couldn't help but eat more than he used to, how he would randomly break down and no one was there to lend him a shoulder to cry on. And then the times when he would just inflame with fury and slice at a tree as he released all of his venom. All just to tire out and continue on with his adventure. His stomach had widened and stretched to the point to where he didn't feel comfortable in his old shirt anymore, having to get die and wool to make a new shirt.
Steve began to venture down into a mine, in need of coal and such just to be safe.
He could hear his own footsteps as the torch in his hand slowly revealed everything around him. He lodged some touch sticks into the walls before lighting them, making sure it was bright enough so mobs wouldn't spawn.
He recognized the familiar pattern of coal and started to mine, smiling as he collected points and coal. His echoing footsteps were the only sound he heard shockingly. and then he noticed something new, a patch of flowers growing in complete darkness. He went up and looked at them before noticing light around the corner. It called to him in a way, the feel of the light was almost, breathtaking. He put out his torch and hid it away as he walked for the strange light. It was pure white light, and as he turned the corner and embraced its warmth, all he felt was this sudden relief from stress and any pain he had.
But as he took a gander at the scene before him, it was a perfectly lit large area with a grass and flower covered ground, trees reaching up to the ceiling of the cavern, A medium sized cabin house that was decorated with plenty of plants that were starting to grow up it. There was also a small glass table with one chair and a closed book and a golden apple on top of it. Steve walked onto the soft grass and looked up to see the roof of the cavern. This was far underground, and there was no sun to shine. The light was impossible!
A clanking of two metal objects made Steve jump in his skin, making him turn to the house as he saw someone.
He was tan but not dark, he had balded to the point where he could only grow facial hair which was dirt brown exactly, his eyes were a brown that would gloss over to have blue within split seconds much like an enchanted weapon would do but a different color, His skin had freckles much like darker spots in sand, he had wrinkles that gave him the illusion of being around age 36 or something close but the feel of his presence made it feel like he was much older, and he wore a white shirt from what Steve could see at his point of view.
The man looked to the side and saw Steve, confused for only a second before giving a big welcoming smile. "Steve! Seems as though you found my hideaway." The man said as he headed outside of his house. As the man exited, Steve realized who it was.
"Notch!" he said and he had no idea how he should act or if he should bow or whatever.
"Calm down, i don't want you breaking an arm." Notch chuckled and grabbed Steve's hand and shook it. "you look different from when i last saw you, More plump for sure." Notch chuckled, trying to be friendly with the male before him.
"Plump? I'm not fat am i?" He asked with worry, a mood swing slowly driving in.
"no no, not at all. But are you hungry? I can cook you up something I've been working on to update into your world." He said as he motioned to his house.
"yes please." Steve said brightly.
