Steve was beginning to question more and more about his condition, and Notch did his best to explain slowly and try to avoid the topic.

Steve wasn't sure why this was so dodgy, he just wanted to know what exactly was inside him and how it would come out.

But to be fare, Herobrine didn't tell Notch all the specifics. So Notch wouldn't even know. But he would try his best when the time came to help Steve.

And today Steve was laying against a tree Notch planted that grew apples that Notch turned into golden apples. They were great for Steve, and made it so he wasn't tired so easily nor did Steve have as much discomfort.
As Steve sat there with his new soft clothing, he couldn't believe that something was inside of him. He was coming to terms with it, along with his true feelings for Herobrine. He was missing the tall dark handsome male also, which gave him homesickness.
Notch helped as best he could, but not much could physically be done without risking Steve outside of the safe zone as Notch considered it.

Notch allowed Steve to tame a wolf after creating different skins for the wolf so Steve could customize it. Steve decided to choose the one with tan fur and a white belly.

Notch was currently busy creating said puppy, Steve patiently waiting on the ground against the Apple tree.

Steve was also thinking of names in general, wondering what was simple and sounded cool enough. Bob? No. Jake? Na. Cathy? Nope.
What was bad is that the thing inside him and the puppy as far as he knew had no genders. So naming a genderless thing was hard! All right?

But then a name came to mind. "Patt." He said to himself. It was a male based name but it sounded feminine. And it was simple!

Steve smiled with pride as he figured a name for his puppy.

Soon enough the door opening caught Steve's attention. Notch was walking over with a newly made small dog. The head was not obnoxious, it wasn't just grey and white, and it was making the most adorable sounds!

"Oh my, Notch. It's too cute!" Steve said as he took the puppy and hugged it. It began making what Steve could only asume as joyful noises while the puppy licked Steve's cheek.

Steve was giggling as he put the puppy down and it began to jump about and try to climb back up to Steve's face again.

"I'm glad you like it. It will be the only one, like you." Notch said before going back inside.

Steve was slightly bothered by this but didn't say anything, not caring if Notch sounded like he had better things to do when the god didn't.
Steve knew he was intruding on the god if anything, but he expected Notch to be a lot more caring, less busy, and maybe someone who could have actually helped.
But Steve was wrong apparently! And he wished he just could feel the warmth of another hug him. After getting a taste of Herobrine after a while it was an echo in his head to go back.

"After being alone for so long, i guess talking to someone has become an addiction." Steve said to the puppy who had calmed down and layed beside Steve. "Bet you cant help either, too small to cuddle with." Steve began to speak to the dog like how he would speak to Notch or Herobrine. Just casual, and he had done this with animals of all sorts till he decided to spare himself From what he considered madness.
"I can't exactly keep myself busy here, entertainment was usually building or exploring, and sometimes crafting." Steve said and smiled before giving a little laugh. "But like this I can't do none, and thinking about it makes me wonder how boring my life really is compared to others. And then those mods? They sound so interesting, some of them even sound helpful. I'll have to figure out how to on my own since so far Notch seems to prefer me have less unique and more original than anything. Heck, he won't let me have more cute dogs that look like you!" Steve said and pet Patt loosely.
