This is a great fairytale story! In fact, Jenni's whole Faerie Tale Collection is amazing! She puts such unique twists to classic fairytales, and from what I've read, they're all clean too! So, check out all of her other books as well.
This particular story was so sweet and interesting! Pearl wants to visit land and the man in love with her, Keel, is willing to do anything to ensure her happiness. It's so bittersweet. 💖 It's cute! It's also quite magical. Had me gripped the entire time. Now, I feel like turning into a mermaid and exploring the sea. Perhaps, she and I can trade places. xD
