Let me just say that I'm a sucker for good Cinderella retellings. And this book? Totally a great retelling!
I loved the story start to finish! The twists the author put on this classic tale were very creative. And I love how - in this book - Clara's motives for going to the balls are to try and save her little brother...which leads me to her siblings. I love them! One in particular has captured my heart with her fierce and stubborn attitude. xD
I highly recommend reading this book if you like fairytale retellings and good writing! You will most certainly relate to at least one person in this diverse group of characters. :D I certainly related to several.

{Glass Slippers is the first book in what sounds like an amazing series. After you read that one, I suggest reading the second book, A Kind Of Bravery, (which is a Mulan retelling) because it's just as good! Although, the author stated that the books can be read as standalones. Just FYI.}
