Abandoned
I was 13 the day my father abandoned us

The day was cold and wet, from the moment I woke up I had a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach and it made me feel sick, i knew something wasnt right

As i climbed down the steps i expected to see my father in the kitchen making breakfast as he has been for the past 5 years since my mother past away

Instead i was met with an empty house and a white envelope with mine and Deans name on it

To my children

By the time yous read this yous probably wouldve noticed that i have left and i regret to say that i wont be returning,
i am so sorry that yous had to find out from a letter but if i had told yous face to face i wouldnt be able to bring myself to leave,
you may not understand why i had to leave right now but yous will one day

P.S the alpha and luna will be over to pick yous up and yous will be staying with them from now on

That was the second hardest day of my life so far

Living with the alpha and luna was great, they were very welcoming and treated us as their own but i still wanted my real parents

Every memory of me and Jake played through my mind and through Genevieves

I pulled my hands away from Genevieve and sat on the bed trying to hold in my tears

"He rejected you?" She asks sitting next to me, soothingly grabbing my hands

"He did" i reply with a nod looking up at her with tears rolling down my face

"But you still love him" she states not even bothering to ask "I understand why"

"So you understand that we aint the people you think we are right?" I ask changing the subject quickly

"I do" she says "But im just so confused, you look exactly like my sister and he looks exactly like that devil"

"What's the last thing you remember?" I asked curiously

"You...I mean my sister Elana she was packing our things, we stupidly ran away from her m-mate and we hid in our old pack territory but they found us and we were chased into our pack temple, I remember being really scared and then darkness" she said shivering as she remembered what happened

Maybe the story is true "Why did you run away from her mate? If you don't mind me asking" I said curiously as I looked at her shaking hands

"It was my fault, I angered the alpha, he arranged for me to marry the alpha of the second most powerful pack so he could control them without war but i couldn't do it, The man was old enough to be my grandfather and he was cruel, how could anyone expect me to marry someone that isn't my mate let alone him so i asked my sister to help me hide away, But the alpha found out and was not happy so i convinced her to leave with me" she said glancing at me with sad teary eyes "everything's my fault, I should've just married him and endured everything, then m-may-maybe my sis-sister would s-still be here" she sobbed

"I dont know your sister personally but there's a story about her that Jake told me, I don't exactly remember how it went since I only heard it a few hours ago but i do remember in the story it was said that she had the purest heart, and I'm sure she would hate seeing you blame yourself" I said soothingly as I embraced her

"You sound just like her you know? Thats something She would've said"She chuckled

"Is that a good thing?" I asked smiling sweetly at her

"It hurts a little bit knowing that you're not my sister but its comforting in a weird way, like she was reborn inside you so she could be here with me in this time" She smiled

She lay back in bed and went back to sleep

Jake's P.O.V

"I dont know your sister personally but there's a story about her that Jake told me, I don't exactly remember how it went since I only heard it a few hours ago but i do remember in the story it was said that she had the purest heart, and I'm sure she would hate seeing you blame yourself" Ally said soothingly as she embraced her

"You sound just like her you know? Thats something She would've said" The weird girl chuckled

"Is that a good thing?" Ally asked smiling sweetly at her

"It hurts a little bit knowing that you're not my sister but its comforting in a weird way, like she was reborn inside you so she could be here with me in this time" The girl smiled

I smiled at the cuteness of my mate forgetting that i was supposed to be "sleeping"

I felt her presence moving closer to me and her scent smelt so intoxicating I felt like I couldn't breath

"I know you're awake Jake" her sweet voice whispered as she moved closer to me

I looked up at her and almost gasped, Her face was mere inches away from mine, My heart almost jumped from my chest, She is so beautiful, Her piercing eyes stared into mine and all of my regret seemed to surface

"Im sorry" I whispered trying to let all of my emotions seep into those two words

She stumbled back slightly in shock before regaining her composure "F-for what?" She asked straightening up as she shifted her gaze to the floor

"You know what for" I said standing up and gently lifting her chin so she can look at me, I grabbed her wrist and pulled her out of the room and into the hallway, I didn't feel comfortable talking in that bedroom while that girl slept

"I did alot of studies on the white wolf and i read apart of your abilities is reading people's emotions, And if you don't mind I'd like you to read mine" I said holding my hands out for her

She looked a little unsure but took my hands anyway and closed her eyes

I took a deep breath and let all of my emotions out, All of the pain and regret I felt, All of the gulit i felt for hurting her, All the fear I had that i might lose her and our child again, All the happiness I felt that she was here again and All of the love and hope I had that maybe someday we could be together

Just Maybe.
