"So why did you come in anyway?" Laurance asks, still chuckling from my embarrassment. My blush began to fade, and cleared my throat. "A-Aphmau and Aaron a-are having a grill o-out tomorrow, s-so I was wondering if you w-want to g-go..." I stuttered out twirling my hair. Laurance nods his head and giggles, placing a hand on my shoulder. "You don't have to get so nervous! Of course I'll come!" I puff out my cheeks, and blush. "O-Ok... C-Can you get out of my room now?" Laurance smirks, and squints his eyes. "Ok fineee!~ But this isn't the last time you'll see me like this~ Ta Ta!~" With that, Laurance is out of the room. Jeez, he sounded like my mom with the 'Ta Ta!~' I groan and carry on with my day.

"Are you two bozos ready yet?!" Zane growls, tapping his foot impatiently by the door. There was roars of laughter coming from upstairs, until it begun to approach closer when two boys rushed down the stairs. Zane rolls his eye, and crosses his arms. "What were you two doing up there?!" Laurance speaks up, after calming down from laughing. "G-Garroth found a video on his phone of Vylad learning to swim when suddenly someone pulls him under, and he started screaming like a little girl." Zane facepalms, and opens the door. The two burst into laughter again. "At least you two are down here now! Let's get moving!" Zane runs behind the boys, and pushes them out the door.

We're walking towards Aaron and Aph's place for the grill out! I'm sooooo excited! I want a hotdog with no condiments, and a bun! I know basic, but it will be good! We're skipping along, well not all of us. One-Eye is behind just placing one foot in front of the other sluggishly. He has this blank expression that stares into your soul. It always creeps me out, but I AM NOT FEARED BY THIS TOTALLY NON-INTIMIDATING CYCLOPS!
As I'm still happily thinking in my thoughts, I feel something brush against my hand. Then the object quickly pulls away, and I see Garroth come to a complete stop. "Gar? You ok?" I question. He holds his hand, blushes bright red. He squints his eyes shut. "I-I'm sorry!" He slurs. I raise an eyebrow, and look questionably at the blond as he lifts his head up to face me. He gulps, and stutters something immune to understand. "What did you say?" I question, worried for the lil Ocean. "I brushed my hand a-against yours..." I snort, and mentally facepalm.

Is that why he is so flustered? Heh, I have an idea...

I reach my hand towards Garroth's and I grab it softly, folding my hand around his. He looked up at me, and actually began to smile. His sleek fingers swiftly stick through mine intertwining our hands in a loving lock. "Ahem." We both turn around to see One-Eye. Garroth blushes, looking down at our hands nervously. I give him a reassuring squeeze, and forms a faint smile while squeezing back. "Are you guys going to keep walk ooorr?" Zane says. Phew! He didn't question us...

We both nodded our heads, and continued walking swaying our locked hands front and back.

We reach the 'A' home, and find everyone already hanging around the grill chanting. Laurance grips my hand tighter as he motions me to walk towards the group. I nod, and we march.
Two familiar face come into sight as we walked towards Travis and Dante. "Hey guys!" Dante cheerfully speaks, going between the two of us, and wrapping his arms tightly around our necks. Laur and I gave each other a signal to drop hands, so we unlocked the key, and let loose. Travis then waves, and gives both of us fist pumps. I can admit I'm literally a midget compared to the two of them, well and Laurance. Dante is 5'10, Travis is around 5'10ish and Laurance is 5'9, so I always feel awkward at 5'1 around them. Curse my damn genes!
Dante lets go of the both of us, and steps back to the side of Travis. "So~ Any interesting things going on?~" Dante coos, obviously trying to find if Laurance or I had a Crush on anyone. Ugh, Dante always likes to wrap up drama, cook it and make it as juicy as he possibly can. I roll my eyes, and I hear Laurance groan. "What? I was just asking! But ~" Dante turns to me, he has found his prey Irene damn it. "Garroth do you like anyone?~" For my extremely bad lying skills, I blushed, but answer like anyone would have. "N-No." I simply- Wait. NOO I STUTTER AGAIN. Travis smirks making a sinister look towards me, approaching me slowly. "Are you sureee?~" He slyly questions, bending down to my level like I was a little child. I stood on my toes trying to make them believe I was trying to be like them as if I was wearing stilts. Puffing my cheeks out, I spoke once more. "I-I'm sure..." I try to speak confidently, placing my hands in my hips. "You're voice says other wise~" Dante coos again, backing me into an unescapable corner of exposure. "C-Can y-you please s-stop asking?" I plead, blushing brighter. But they shook their heads, jokingly, but it got me worried. "Come on Gar-" I feel a body step in front of me.

"Enough is enough!"

Laurance. He growled under his breath. "Leave Garroth alone. If he doesn't want to share, then you should give him some respect." Dante and Travis turn to each other, and their eyes widen. I peek to the side of Laurance to make sure he's ok. His eyes are turning red again. Shit. I tap his shoulder, and he spun around staring at me softly. "You're eyes Laurance." I whisper, his eyes widen and I push him off into a safe area leaving our two other friends confused as hell.
Laurance embraces me tightly moving down to me level. "S-Sorry..." He apologizes, as I comb his hair between my slender fingers. I shock my head, pulling away to look at the crimson balls of Fire. "It wasn't your fault, you were only trying to protect me..." He scanned the ground in shame only to take his thumb, and brush it along the bottom of my eye to retrieve a tear drop. "Great I'm crying again..." My eyes water, and Laurance pulls me in again. "We are in this together, remember? We are supposed to help each other. That means it's ok to cry Gar." He strokes my hair softly. I wipe my tears away, pulling back once again. "Y-You're r-right..." I confess, checking his eyes once more. The shining sky returned, and beamed brightly. I give him a nod of reassurance that his eyes turned back. Nodding back, we both walk back towards our group of friends, and join conversation.

What the two were unaware of was that a figure stood, and watched their whole scene. Shadows rising, and fear screaming.
