After the party last night, we all fell into a deep slumber immediately. I was first to fall asleep though. Laurance always has told me I'm a heavy sleeper.
It's Saturday now, and I really just feel like going for a walk in the park like I usually do. I love to look at the scenery around me, the young children frolicking around the play structure and swings, the silence of the paths leading through a small forest, but my favorite is the pond. Where the small fish, and other small creatures swim. Where there are benches to sit, and relax. And well, what can I say, any body of water is my second home. It always has been probably because of me being the Wielder of Water, but I love the waving blue glistening water besides my power.
I decided to ask Laurance to join me because I've never done my walk with someone, and kinda wanted company. I see him at the door with jeans and a dark green sweatshirt. It is fall after all. I march up to him, and we exit to the car.
When we arrive at the park, I squeal joyfully excited to show my favorite things to do at the park. Laurance chuckles at my excitement, and interwinds his fingers through mine. I lift my eyes up to his, and smile sweetly. The red tint of happiness sprinkled on my slightly chubby cheeks. "So where to first Mr. I know the park well." Laurance jokes. I chuckle, and point towards the direction of the pond. "There is a small path that crosses through a forest which leads to my favorite place in the whole park! The pond!" I cheer excitedly. "I would have never guessed." He sarcastically speaks, rolling his eyes playfully as we begin to walk through the park.~•~•~•~•~
As Garroth and Laurance arrive at the entrance to the forest, there are small signs telling the background of the park which Garroth always had to relook at every time when he was about to enter. After he read the signs, the elements pounded along the dirt path, putting a little skip in their step, laughing and giggling.
Rustle.
The two abruptly stop as a large rustle came from the bushes that surrounded the trees. "What was that?" Garroth questions, spinning a whole 360 to check for any misplace or problem. After giving a shrug, Garroth pulls Laurance forward to continue through.
As the two walk, the noises continue making the blond clutch to the brunette in fear. The Latino scanning left and right keeping a protective eye on the blonde.Thump. Thump! THUMP THUMP!
There were running steps coming from behind them as Laurance turned around to face the unknown.
Slam!
Something or someone shoves the brunette back as he falls on his side with a small grunt in pain. "Laurance!" The Blonde panics, rushing to fire's side. "Well, it's good to see you Garroth. Laurance." The figure says growling as he said Laurance's name in particular. Garroth's eyes widened in fear looking at the figure in front of him. It was almost a dark, misty ball of shadows. Something the blond had never seen before.
But. He knew what it was. The Wielder of Shadows, a strongly frightening power only possessed in those who seek power over your own imagination. The shadows spread around the full formed wielder as they cackled frightening the water more. The biggest question was how did they know their names?
When Garroth had gathered enough courage he spoke, standing to his feet. "Who are you, and how do you know our names?!" The figure laughed again as water swished into a drop on the ground. Where is that fear aura coming from? I peak slightly to see another figure. The wielder of fear... A hooligan type power that lets the wielder control the mind set to fear, and their worst nightmares. Their dreadful sadness and despair. The same question kept going through Garroth's mind. What do they want from us?!
After a long pause the shadow spoke up. "You don't recognize us don't you?~ How about you go back to your high school days Garroth." High school. Oh those dreaded years. Well there is Ivy, Ein- Wait. In seconds Garroth knew who they were.
