Now, there is nothing wrong with asking the writer to update, in fact it helps them get motivated to update, BUT when tou keep asking them to update CONSTANTLY non-stop every hour can get annoying as hell.
Now before you start to constantly ask for an update, see if the writer replies to you. Wait for a maximum of 24 hours. If they don't update, BEGIN THE BEGGING!
Keep asking them to update every hour on the hour, it would surely annoy them, and I think we can all agree it's annoying!
